This house is beautiful. We made great use of the heated pool, even when the air temperatures were in the 60s. I can't say enough great things about our hosts Belinda and Ed. I knew they were nice folks from the beginning because I mentioned after booking that we loved everything about the property except the twin bed situation in the second bedroom because my snoring husband and I don't typically share a bedroom, but we still wanted to stay there. Belinda responded that she ordered a double bed for that room (which turned out to be a queen bed). They didn't have to do that, but it sure was appreciated. Our son and daughter and their families were staying at other places and their hosts were not nearly as wonderful. When our daughter was hearing bad noises in her car, I asked Belinda for a recommendation for a car repair place. She not only furnished a name, but said that she had an appointment 2 days later and if the repair guy couldn't fit our daughter in that day, she should tell him to give her Belinda's appointment. Now that is above and beyond. We had the nicest place, so our group gathered here for pool time and barbecuing and table games. There was plenty of room to entertain our group of 5 adults and 4 teens. Everything you need is within a short drive. We recommend Sharky's on the Pier for a special meal. If we can swing it to come back to Venice next year, we would definitely try to book this house again.
