Excelente hotel
Me hospedé en este hotel, quede encantado de la calidez de la señorita que nos atendió hablaba español y nos dio todas las indicaciones. Al llegar a la habitación nos tenían fruta con lambrusco, lo,cual con el calor y después de mucho sol se agradece. La parada para el vaporeto está muy cerca. El internet estuvo bien y la habitación era lo que esperaba. Lo único que creo que tienen que mejorar es el desayuno que no tiene variedad, y mas lugares para sentarse. Para un hotel de 4 estrellas y que todo lo hace bien es muy importante. Si regreso me quedaría de nuevo aquí.

Lamentamos mucho que el desayuno no ha sido de su agrado: cada manana ofrecemos platos calientes y fríos, incluyendo huevos, panqueques, quiches, queso, jamón, salami, cereales, varios tipos de cruasanes, yogur, ensalada de frutas y más. El edificio se remonta a la década de 1500 con las limitaciones arquitectónicas que vienen con la edad y que desafortunadamente dictan el tamaño de la sala de desayuno. Esperamos darle la bienvenida pronto en el Palazzo del Giglio.

Dear Client, We were very pleased to read of your satisfaction in relation to the quality and the location of our hotel. We are sorry that occasionally the Wi Fi is weaker than normally expected at an international level. Unfortunately Venice has not yet received optical fibre internet and as such speed depends on location and times of the day. We have to point out that any extra charge is requested in case of a late check in: our night porter is available to welcoming our guests all night long. We hope to welcome you back soon at Palazzo del Giglio.

necesitan especificar como llegar
Necesario mejor el clima de los cuartos y especificar como llegar ya que se tiene que tomar el trasporte por el canal y se piderde demasiado tiempo en averiguarlo.

Excelente bienvenida con frutas y Proseco. Muy muy comodo tanto por el tamanio de la habitacion como por la ubicacion del hotel. Excelente alternativa. Tuvimos problemas con el wifi que funcionaba major afuera del hotel que en la habitacion.

This was our favorite hotel in Italy. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and went above and beyond to answer any questions and offer suggestions. The location is very convenient with a water taxi and vaporetta stop just a 1-2 minute walk with no steps. There are quite a few good dining options within a few minutes and it’s a short walk to St. Mark’s and shopping. There is also daily breakfast which you order the night before and is delivered to your room in the morning which we found very convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel and location with the plaza just out the front of the hotel and 3 min walk from where the water taxi dropped us off! Junior suite we stayed in was awesome for space for 3-4. Venice was just beautiful beyond expectations.

Not worth it...
The hotel is nice and located in the heart of Venice but unfortunately they shutdown the heater at night to conserve electricity and they DO NOT tell you during the booking nor during the check-in. You get to find out about this at 3 am when you call the front desk freezing....we didn't get much sleep that night.

Dear Guest,Thank you for your observations regarding the hotel. As regards the heating, as already explained to you during your stay, due to the European energy crisis and in compliance with the provisions of Italian Ministry for the Ecological Transiction, the heating system of the Hotel can be kept turned on not more than 13 hours per day and the weighted average air temperature shall not exceed 19 degrees Celsius. The heating of our hotel is active from 6 am to 10 am, from 1 pm to 3 pm and from 5 pm to 12 am.We do hope that you enjoyed your stay in Venice.

Dear Client, We do appreciate all observations and we constantly endeavour to improve our clients’ experience at our hotel. Your observation that the property is dated leaves us a little perplexed. The city is indeed dated, in fact it is 1000 years old. The property is in keeping with the city’s dated history but in a contemporary context. Your further comment that the bedsheets are old leave us even more surprised. It is unusual the 800 thread cotton sheets that we use, seem dated to you. We positively refuse to use the polyester sheets that Ikea and other outlets have to offer. However we do respect our clients’ wishes and while we have never had complaints in this regard, we will do our best to accommodate your requirements should you visit us again. We hope that your holiday in Venice was a very satisfactory one.
