I booked our reservation months in advance. The very afternoon we are to check in he has rented it to someone else and tried to blame VRBO. Turns out he lists on multiple sites. We were a family of six so not easy to find accommodation on such short notice.

Beautiful property! Extremely clean, with amazing décor and gorgeous antique furniture throughout. Communication was top-notch. It’s close to the city center, and getting to and from the island was easy and affordable by taxi. We visited Rome, Florence, and Venice, and this property was by far the nicest. Highly recommend!

Venice getaway

liked the area-close to stores, restaurants, secure parking, elevator was convenient. The apartment was beautifully furnished, chandeliers beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip was hearing, all the bells, when the new Pope was selected!

Excellent location and beautiful accomodations

The place is wonderfully close to Mestre center and furnished with amazing antiques. The awesome 50s era clean kitchen was a treat!

We had a fantastic stay! The manager helped us to locate parking for our oversized vehicle. The location was convenient to Venice. The unit was outstanding! The elevator was a bit cramped, but we worked through it easily enough. Thank you!!

Amazing property

Fantastic, spacious flat. The location was amazing - walking distance to the train station and quick bus ride to Venice proper (using the bus that stops right outside the building).

I was in communication with the property manager nonstop since booking the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit in February, including the night before our stay. But when we showed up, we were told that we had no reservation and that the unit was already booked with somebody else. Although he did find us another unit, upon arrival we discovered it was a one bedroom one bath to take its place, We were five adults, and it was not what we paid for. Very very stressful, devastating and a major inconvenience with the whole thing. Do NOT book from this person. Apparently you’re not guaranteed to get what you pay for.

Very lovely apartment

The apartment was lovely and exactly as the pictures showed on line. Very spacious and close to the bus into Venice. We were close enough to walk to and from the train station .

Location, location, location!!!

We absolutely loved the charm, roominess, and convenience of this rental. Walkable to so many things!!! Our contact was very accommodating at all times of the day or night. We would definitely recommend this rental and will stay again!! Brenda, Pam, Ceci, and Rhonda

Perfect location

Condo is spacious and the location is very close to everything. Unit has older furniture which has antique value.

Wonderful Place

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was more than we could have hoped for. Nick was great getting us checked in and giving us perfect directions for getting into the city. The furnishings were amazing and perfect for a Venetian stay. Getting to know his mother was an added treat. We loved it. I would definitely recommend this apartment for future visitors.

Penthouse apartment

Very nice. Very large penthouse apartment with very nice bacony/patio to sit and have your morning coffee or evening wine. Nicely stocked kitchen. Easy bus access to the city for trips in so can leave your car in the gated designated parking space (10 euro/day). Would definitely recommend.

Nick’s Palace

Very spacious for our group of 8, located at bus stop for #2 which goes right to bus circle on the isles . We could walk everywhere in Mestre for groceries or eating out... in fact, the food is great and in many cases better than the tourist areas! Nick met us on property and also helped us arrange airport transportation!

Excellent spacious property in a brilliant location for public transport and getting in to Venice

Very helpful management, our transport from the airport was cancelled less than 24 hours before our trip and you rearranged for us very quickly. The apartment was beautifully clean and wonderfully decorated. Loads of outside space to enjoy the sunshine. Good supermarkets nearby along with great bakers and ice cream shop to. Cannot recommend highly enough, fantastic value too

Great place to stay after cruise to see Venice area

6 of us finished an 11 day cruise and wanted to see Venice, so we booked this location. GREAT ! ! ! All of the space was on one floor and it was easily accessible via an elevator (though small). We were right on the bus line and had easy access to all transportation as well as some great restaurants and groceries. We would highly recommend it. We hope to make it back to Venice and spend more time and would consider this again as our base of operations!

Once in a lifetime family vacation

I cannot say enough about this property, the history, the beautiful furniture, the size and the cleanliness. Nicola could not have been more helpful. He was very prompt to check-in. He explained the history behind the building in the furniture, which was wonderful. He also arranged for our pick up to the airport in the morning. We were meeting and suggested restaurants in the neighborhood, which were also wonderful.

Prachtige vakantiewoning

Een fijn en groot appartement. Wat vooral bijzonder is, is het vele antiek in de woning. Bedenk sliepen prima. Gastheer was erg vriendelijk. In de keuken ontbrak wel een en ander om goed te kunnen koken. Plek van het appartement was ook fijn. Dichtbij het historische hart van Mestre en je bent zo met de bus die voor de deur stopt in Venetië.
