Snuggle up on winter nights amongst the treetops in front of the wood burning fireplace and enjoy entertaining on the large outdoor balcony with beautiful sunset views. This comfortable family and pet friendly holiday home is just a 5-10 minute walk to both swimming and all-season leash-free dog walking beaches. Spacious, tranquil and fully fenced dog friendly garden. The large garden has established shade trees, a fire-pit area, as well as an additional outdoor dining and lounging space.

The house has two comfortable living areas and a large balcony with brand new Weber BBQ. The cook’s kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized fridge, dishwasher, brand new 90cm Smeg dual fuel oven, microwave and Sunbeam barista coffee machine. Great range of pots, pans, serving dishes and all you need for entertaining.

There is also a split system heater/air-conditioner upstairs and additional portable electric heaters and standing fans for the other areas of the house. There are 2 smart TVs and unlimited wifi, although only the downstairs TV has access to free-to-air TV. Or you can stay off screens altogether and enjoy a great variety of puzzles, games and books. Feel free to use the 2 boogie boards in the shed.

Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed, while downstairs there is a bedroom with a bunk bed, double on the bottom and single on top. With an additional trundle under the downstairs bunk and a double sofa bed in the downstairs living area, the house very comfortably sleeps seven but can stretch to 10. Bed linen is provided for all beds, as well as plenty of bath towels and tea towels. Please note however that there is only one bathroom, so 10 people might have a bit of wait for their turn.

Ventnor is a semi-rural area surrounded by countryside, diverse, pristine beaches, is home to fantastic birds, sea life & wildlife. In winter humpback whales can at times be sighted. Wallabies can be seen at sunset in the grassy area above the beach and on the morning beach walk, while friendly rainbow lorikeets love to visit our balcony.

Ventnor has a convenient general store, just 7 minutes’ walk away, two farm cafes & and a winery. The house is close to the famous Penguin Parade and a five-minute drive into the town of Cowes where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops.

Dogs are welcome. House trained dogs are welcome inside. There is a large, fully fenced garden and undercover areas, with a dog bed and bowls provided. Just a five-minute walk to the beach and walk to the left for the all seasons off-leash beach.
