We very much enjoyed our stay. The location to the beach and view of the ocean was awesome! The property felt very safe. It was nice that it was located in a gated community.
There are a lot of things to do within a short drive of the condo. We had good Italian food at Angelina's Pizzeria e Ristorante. The Navy Seal Museum was very cool. There were so many interactive exhibits, including a helicopter and boats that you could go inside. The Manatee Observation and Education Center was also good. Even though we didn't see any manatees, the rest was well worth the $2 admission fee.
If you are willing to drive a bit further, the Elliott Museum has a lot of interesting displays. They have a good car collection, and a car show on Tuesday evenings. It was rained out when we were there, but the museum was still worth the trip. While in the area, we checked out the House of Refuge. It is closed for renovations, but the rocky beach there is fun to explore.
The condo had enough supply of paper products to last the week we were there and plenty of towels and dishes to use. We enjoyed having in unit washer and dryer. There were good chairs, an umbrella, and other items to use at the beach. The condo is an older unit and we had a few very minor issues, nothing bad enough to complain to the manager, though. The sliding screen in the master bedroom was broken, there were some broken and missing pieces on the blinds in the living room, and the second bathroom had poor water pressure in the shower. None of these things made a big difference on our trip and the condo was definitely worth the price. We would stay again if in the area.
