  • Welcome to your very private 10 acre piece of Kentucky at its best. Our stay features the Kentucky Palisades, a cedar cabin nestled in the Thoroughbred Capital of the World and is also conveniently located on the Bourbon Trail! This peaceful riverfront property has two bedrooms, comfortably sleeps six, has an acre pond with a floating dock, a boat ramp at the end of our driveway and easy access to Keeneland. Whether you are looking to explore the Bluegrass or just relax and recharge, this stay will accommodate both.

My wife and I loved it. The Kayaks were a bonus. We kayaked the river and found a waterfall. The property was perfect. The pond was really cool and you can get to the river to fish. Porch swing was also really nice.

Cozy private cabin! We especially loved everything outdoors. The private pond, kayaks, floating dock, and fire pit! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Our daughter attends Asbury University which was a short 15 minute drive from the cabin. We enjoyed getting away in nature and being able to relax and enjoy one another.

The accommodations greatly exceeded our expectations. The cabin was very clean, and well organized.After coming down the long gravel road, when it opens up to the property, it’s absolutely breathtaking!It is just so peaceful there. We were looking for peaceful, stress free, and the ability to bring our dog. Our dog absolutely loved all the space to run and explore. The host was amazing. They were very prompt with any questions we had. All linens and toiletries were well stocked.We both work a lot, and this cabin was the exact medicine we needed to unwind and find relaxation.Would definitely stay here again if we were to be in the area!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location

Tastefully decorated cabin in an awesome location. We enjoyed using the cabin as a home base while we toured the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We also enjoyed a evening fire in the fire pit and a delicious lunch from the location corner store!

Nice hideaway in beautiful area

Beautiful drive through "horse country" to get to this cozy and immaculately clean cabin. The owner's driveway goes through the front yard but otherwise you are in complete seclusion, with sounds and sights of nature all around. Great place to hide away and relax after exploring horse and bourbon fun nearby.
