Wir hatten einen herzlichen Empfang von Madame Robert, obwohl wir früher als erwartet eintrafen. Wer keinen Luxus braucht, kann sich hier wohlfühlen. ”

“We had a truly great time. Nicole, Jean-Louis and Sebastien are wonderful hosts. After the check-in they accompanied us to the neighbours where we had the first champagne tasting. The house, located in the middle of champagne fields, is impeccable and the perfect location to visit Reims, Epernay and all the other great champagne places. We will definitely return to this place!”

Nadat we al enkele dagen ter plaatse waren hadden we een probleem met de eigenaar die beweerde niet met vrbo te werken voor de verhuur van het huis en er iemand anders geboekt stond om die dag de woning te betrekken.Hierdoor werd er gedreigd met de politie om ons uit de woning te zetten. Na contact met vrbo en contact tussen vrbo en de eigenaar werd het wel opgelost. Maar zou deze woning dus niet meer boeken via dit platform.”

“Staying here was absolutely wonderful. The property is large and beautifully and lovingly maintained. The abundant number of amenities made it a really fun place for our family to stay. And the central location was ideal for visiting the many nearby towns. I have only praise for Marie (the owner) and this property. ”

“ We arrived late evening on the first day but Sandrine was available and very welcoming. The gite is lovely and just as described and having the pool is great and was welcome in the hot weather. For the last few days of the week we were 6 adults and the house worked well for us with plenty of space outside and in and we all left feeling very relaxed. A lovely little village but with plenty of places to visit not too far away, Epernay and surrounding villages for champagne tasting and Provins...

“Paula was a top rank host. Quick to respond, thoughtful, and helpful. The kitchen is smallish but pretty well equipped. Reims is a great side trip, of course, but so is chalone-en-champagne. We had many excellent meals. Best was probably Why Not, much more elegant than the name suggests. Was not wowed by Grillade Gourmand.If you are serious about champagne, I recommend you arrange visits with some small growers. The large house tours are fun but not as interesting.”
