Secluded Country Home in Historic Hoosier Hills

  • Esta casa tiene más de 1900 pies cuadrados de sala de estar con terraza acristalada adjunta y una terraza de 50 pies con parrilla y cocina al aire libre. Fogata al aire libre con mucha leña. Mark was very accommodating & quickly responded to any questions I posed. It’s a wonderful peaceful retreat with lots of wildlife. If not for our Madison Regatta music schedule for the weekend we would have enjoyed this gem even more! There was nothing we didn’t have in the way of kitchen necessities or throughout the household. Very nice place to vacation or weekend getaway!

Great house. Best owner we have ever dealt with. Rent pribably 10 places a year for the last 7 years and he beats them all. Definitely a great christmas or summer get away. Cant wait to go back.

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing. Even used the firepit for s'more. Thank you for the perfect place for my 5 aunts, mom,dad and an uncle to make new memories and share old ones.

Wonderful Escape

This place was a little oasis of peace. My book club spent the weekend relaxing in such a scenic atmosphere. The hosts were communicative and very nice. The checkin and check out process was smooth and easy.

Beautiful Location, Wonderful Host

This quiet, beautiful location was the perfect place for our family holiday get together. It was peaceful and had everything we needed during our stay. Mark was excellent at communicating and immediately took care of any needs we had. We highly recommend him as a host and a stay at his home.

Great property

Great home and property. Stayed here with eight adults and had plenty of space. Everything in the house was as advertised and included everything we needed. Great host to work with who ensured we were having a good time and that everything was as we expected. We all would highly recommend it and would not hesitate to stay again!

Great property

This house and land are amazing! Despite rain, we all had a great time; even managed to get in some swimming and fishing. It was so much more than we expected. The owners were very responsive to emails since the day we booked the house! Highly recommend this property.

Great family reunion

We chose this property because it's equal distance or better for each of us, one 600 miles ease, one 600 miles west and one 350 to the north. Was a great family reunion. We were totally comfortable on this property. Everything was provided that we might have needed or wanted. A really great time in a fabulous location and dwelling.

Exactly what we were looking for

I had booked this property because of the location for an extended weekend. Not really thinking about the beautiful leaves. Our host checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. It was great.

Relax and Unwind

We loved our stay and can't wait to come back! The house was very nice, comfortable and well stocked. We cooked all our meals, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Our grandson caught the biggest of many fish caught and we enjoyed many hours on the deck playing games. The people in the area are very friendly and a visit to Shell's for ice cream is a must! Thank you Mark and Janet for sharing your home.
