I stayed for four nights and had a wonderful visit! Staff was there when I needed them, my room was cleaned daily and the location was perfect! There were restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, an elevator, places to shop at and the 43 and 44 tram line literally stop outside your front door! It was like haviiong my own apartment for my whole trip. Free WiFi that worked very well, ensuite bathroom that had a large shower, with toiletries included, a television (though I rarely watch TV on holiday) and had an in room safe (that I didn't utilize). I was thoroughly impressed with this place and would stay again upon my next visit to Vienna! I can see it's not for everyone. It's not a 5 star place, even though that's what I'm giving it. If you want the Marriott, pay for the Marriott. I don't mind staying in places that are "off the beaten path," and as I don't spend much time IN the hotel, my standards are simple. Clean bed, clean bathroom and near public transport. The only suggestion I have is mention to the owners of the building that there needs to be some light in the entrance and by the elevator. There are stairs there that should be illuminated and although I didn't feel it, I could see some guests being creeped out because It was VERY dark coming in late and leaving early in the AM.
