  • Casa Valeria is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, making it the perfect location for a holiday on your own, as a couple, with family or with friends. Our guests have space to enjoy a group holiday whilst still being able to retreat to their own space if they wish. This is because Casa Valeria comprises two apartments, both with sea views, a fireplace and heating in every room.

    Ground floor: Property number 5293904

    Each apartment has 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and natural light. The roof terrace is 70 square metres, with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean directly in front of the house and the village of Burgau. It is accessable from both appartments. You can meet up for breakfast under the parasol, or practise yoga, Pilates and gymnastics. Or simply relax on the sun loungers – always with a view of the sea.

    Holidays with the family, on your own or with friends – be inspired by the wholesome world in and around Burgau.

    The hiking path Rota Vicentina (between Lagos and Salema called Fisherman's Trail) passes the Casa Valeria which allows you to walk along the cliffs either to Luz and Lagos or Salema further on towards Sagres. We use the trail for long distance running with great views in the morning and a fresh swim on the beach.

The location of this property is awesome. The view and close proximity to the beach and restaurants is perfect. The apartment is perfect for 3-4 people. Kitchen has the bare necessities. Access to the top balcony with plenty of seating make this property a 5! Will return.

Einfach toll!

Tolle Lage der Wohnung, netter kleiner Ort mit allem was man braucht, sehr gute Restaurants und Bars, relaxte Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche Vermieter. Für uns war es ein toller Urlaub, auch unsere Jungs im Teenager-Alter fanden es dort klasse, auch ohne viel Drumherum. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a fantastic time. The apartment is in a brilliant location. The restaurants in Burgau are great. The beach is brilliant. The owners gave us lots of information and responded to all our queries very promptly.

Urlaub wie im Bilderbuch

In einem wirklich malerischen Dorf ein Ferienhaus direkt über dem Strand, Einschlafen und Aufwachen mit Atlantik-Rauschen, sehr gepflegte Wohnung, Küche mit aller Ausstattung, die der Koch begehrt, ein wunderschöner Strand und Ende Oktober fast einsam... Wir empfehlen uneingeschränkt, in Burgau Urlaub zu machen!

Eine Woche Burgau im Casa Valeria

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Casa Valeria in Burgau. Der Blick aus dem Fenster aufs Meer ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zu Edith und Jens war sehr nett. Burgau ist ein kleiner charmanter Ort und wir würden wiederkommen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung nahe am Strand

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in der Casa Valeria verbracht. Das Haus liegt einer kleinen Strasse 100m vom Strand entfernt. Burgau ist ein kleines, typisches Dorf mit Mini Markt und einigen gemütlichen Restaurants mit sehr gutem Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen im Casa Valeria verbracht. Die Wohnung ist gut und vollständig ausgestattet und liegt perfekt im Ort. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Strand. Die Dachterrasse ist perfekt zum Frühstücken oder Abendessen mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Burgau hat viel zu bieten: tolle Restaurants, kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einen kleinen aber schönen Strand. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen…

Wonderful holiday home

We did love everything about Casa Valeria. However it would have been nice to be told in the information pack that the bed sheets and towels are not changed mid stay.If we'd known this we would have brought washing powder it is the 1st self catering property that we have stayed in that didn't do this.

Tolle Wohnung - auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt

Leider wurde ich während des Urlaubs krank und verbrachte entsprechend viel Zeit in der Wohnung. Die wunderschöne Aussicht, die guten Betten und die Ausstattung der Küche habe ich umso mehr geschätzt 😉 Die Wohnung war wunderbar.

Perfekter individueller Algarve Urlaub

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt beschrieben, sauber, geräumig und Blick aufs Meer (obere Wohnung und Dachterrasse) Meeresrauschen bei Nacht, im Ort alles, was man benötigt und in wenigen Schritten am Strand. Auto liess sich auch immer in der Nähe parken. Wer fern von Hotels und lauten Touristädten Urlaub machen will , aber auch nicht ganz einsam sein will, ist in Burgau genau richtig. Alle Ausflugsziele sind von dort mit dem Auto klasse zu erreichen. Eine Unterkunft, die wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen wollen:)

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir waren das erste mal an der Algarve. Die Casa Valeria war eine wunderschöne und authentisch Unterkunft. Die Realität hat die Bilder des Inserats noch übertroffen. Unschlagbar ist der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse und der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe. An dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlichen Dank für die gute Kommunikation, Organisation und die vielen Empfehlungen im Voraus, sowie an Maria, die wir leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben.

The location is great, very close to the beach. The sea view from the dining room and bedroom is lovely. The apartment is well equipped. The roof terrace is the only outside space, it is lovely but you do share it with one other apartment.I think you could have a few different experiences staying in this apartment as we had a lot of outside noise from a family with children next door and there is a bar a few doors down. The noise from these didn’t really quieten until gone midnight. I think this is worth mentioning if you are coming to relax. The road right out front is very narrow, sometimes you can park and sometimes you have to park up the hill. Not a problem for us but could be for others.

Casa Valeria hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist ein schönes Haus im Portugiesischem Stil, liegt mitten im Ort und man kann die Wellen hören. Die Einrichtung ist nicht die neueste (die Betten waren aber gut) dennoch ist alles in Ordnung. Die Küche hat keine Spülmaschine und ist auch recht alt, aber es ist alles funktionstüchtig und alle sonstigen wichtigen Utensilien sind vorhanden. Durch die Feuchtigkeit können die Holzschränke etwas riechen. Da hilft aber viel lüften. Die Dachterrasse ist herrlich, sie ist zwar recht einsehbar, aber man selbst hat ebenso einen fantastischen Blick über die Bucht von Burgau. Unser Lieblingsplatz, egal ob mit Kaffee am Morgen oder Vino am Abend, war jedoch die Bank vor der Hauswand unten an der Strasse.
