“The property is a small home with all conveniences, including heat and a/c. It is well cared for and has a nice view of the river. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family.”

“The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades.”

“Le logement est minuscule, et contrairement à ce qui est indiqué il n'y a pas 2 salles de bain. Aucune fenêtre ne possède de volet, les toilettes et la douche sont dans la chambre principale en mode ouvert. Le samedi soir il y a réunion au bar juste sous les fenêtres jusqu'à 3h00 du matin donc obligé de dormir les fenêtres fermées sans clim, et réveillé à 05:00 pa r le coq, les chiens et à 07:00 par le boulanger.... ”

“We could not have been happier with the experience! We were traveling with a large family (9 of us total, all adults), and there was plenty of space. The views were beautiful, and the house was clean and well kept. They had a chef make us dinner one night, which was a very special experience. I will note that the house is up a steep, narrow road and so large vans could be a challenge. Overall, it was one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had.”

We did not use the pool (thought it was crystal clear), as it was a bit cool in early October... and we were always out during the day exploring the Douro Valley.
