This was our second year in a row staying at Papa’s View. It is a great house with plenty of amenities and the kitchen is well stocked. We hope to stay there again!

We had a great stay! Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen equipment, lots of ice, and there was even a decorated Christmas tree!!

Great place for skiing

30 minutes from sugar mountain and 45 from beech mountain, great location and great amenities. Will definitely be back

Beautiful home in perfect location

This house is simply gorgeous. The kitchen is really well stocked with beautiful dishes, sharp knives, and all the gadgets. The 4 bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and each has a bathroom. Close enough to town but secluded enough for the perfect mountain getaway.

Short but wonderful trip

Beautiful property Exactly as described. Loved sitting outside on the deck. Would have loved to have had an outdoor fire pit. Has everything you need to cook a wonderful meal and so much room to spread out. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: We returned to Valle Crucis, and in particular, Papa's View because of the great location, tasteful accommodations, and it is very dog friendly. Valle Crucis park is great (and close by) if you have kids and/or dogs.

Beautiful Mountain Home

Papa’s View is absolutely beautiful! The property and house were immaculate and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The house lacked nothing! The only negative that might be of importance to some is that the mountain view was best seen from the upstairs bedroom. However, nature’s beauty could be seen from all rooms. We would definitely stay at this gorgeous property again.

Absolutely Magical!

The house is gorgeous! So clean and welcoming! We loved every second! We were with 3 other couples and had a lovely friends weekend! The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch, the kitchen well stocked and the porch was so serene! Such a beautiful home. The management company were excellent and everything went smoothly. We could not be more thrilled from start to finish! Rent this beautiful house! Thank you! We will be back!

Stunning home!

We absolutely loved everything about this home and gorgeous property. The location was central to everything from Boone, Blowong Rock, Banner Elk etc. We only needed more time to do it! The management company was superb and communicated very well. Can’t wait to come again!

Beautiful cabin

We had a great stay at Papa's view! The cabin is beautiful and well appointed. It is a perfect location for trips to Boone and Blowing Rock, but more importantly it served as a wonderful oasis to just relax for the weekend in the mountains.

Very close and convenient to Mast general store, Boone and Blowing Rock. Can’t say enough good things about this home.

We loved our stay at Papa's View! Beautiful appointments throughout, well maintained, and very clean. We will definitely be back! The property management company was very friendly and thorough. I would have preferred a contactless check-in option.

Did Not Disappoint

From the moment we arrived on Friday to the moment we left it n Sunday, the cabin did not disappoint. My husband and I rented this cabin for some family time with our sons, their wives and their children. Papa’s View is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped. The large family room was a favorite gathering spot as well as the expansive back deck/yard area. The owners have thought if everything when it comes to comfort and style. We especially loved the personal touches here and there. And the place was very clean as well. This cabin is a definite return destination.
