Staff excellent , food very good . Maintenance needed around property . Path to beach restaurant has several lights not working so not good at night as path is steep . Pool deck furniture just piled Up instead of set up . Only two loungers . Pool cloudy for entire stay . So cloudy you can’t see the bottom which is a safety hazard . Several steep steps around the property were tripping hazards . Steps had sharp edges due to being tiled and edges not finished . Bathroom sink constantly choked . Tv didn’t work properly . Coffee maker crammed in the back of the closet . Asked for cream for coffee maker but never received any . No frills and clean with friendly staff and good food .

The hotel has a lot going for it, especially the setting. The pool area offers a great view and is a relaxing place to spend time, though the pool itself could have been cleaner. One of the bigger disappointments was that several advertised amenities weren’t available during our stay—the beach club was closed, along with some of the restaurants and the pool bar. That took away from the overall experience and value. That said, the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, which made a positive difference throughout the trip. The drinks were well made and enjoyable, but the food service was noticeably slow—even when the restaurant wasn’t busy—which became frustrating at times. Overall, we still had a good experience and enjoyed our stay, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations given what was advertised. With a few improvements and more consistency in what’s open and available, this could easily be a much stronger experience.

The night before I left I thought it was strange that the boy that worked at the front desk was upstairs near my room. We spoke for a bit while he was walking back down stairs. I noticed my room door was open and the lights were on but I dismissed it. It’s not until I was packing my bags did I realize ALMOST HALF MY PLUMS that was in my personal fridge was gone. I really enjoyed my time but I can’t get over the fact that staff went in my room and stole my fruit that I picked and planned on bring back to the states for someone. I had a full bag, you guys left me with less than half. Thank you.

There is no elevator in this hotel and that is not advertised at all, but should be. After being told at check in that we would be moved the following morning to a first floor since a member of our family could hardly walk up and down the steps, that did not happen. There was a lot of steps to walk down to get to the ocean, however, once there, the view was amazing. Ended up leaving the vacation early because it was too painful to continue to walk the steps to get to the room. There was a wedding event one evening so the entire pool area was closed for all of the other hotel guests. The staff was friendly and the views were beautiful.

Overall the location and hotel physically are great. They have 3 restaurants. If I could give the Italian restaurant 0 stars I would. 50% of the menu they didnt have ( including bruschetta...fyi its toasted bread) which we convinced them to make after a debate. My Ciopino was basically a handful of clams and muscles in spaghetti sauce. The bar restarant was mediocre and took forever even when we were the only people there. The beach bar was ok when open. Overall the staff was nice but my hunch is they are missing a layer of management because they are not well trained and definitely give you differemt answers/ experiences based on which person you talk with. I did like their gym.

Room needs TLC as furniture was beat up. Front desk lady was very nice upon check in and other assistance as required. Bar staff was very young and inquisitive regarding sexual orientation as it is illegal to be gay which we did not know.

Great hotel, I was forced to book the only 2 rooms left, the presidential suites. After arriving, there was only 3 or 4 rooms occupied of the 20 or so. Very deceiving. Veiws are the best, the hotel is up to date, kind staff. Food is basicly burgers and wings. There is a nice dining area, but only chicken and beef were avaliable. We couldn't find any fish at any restaurant in our area of the island! I would stay here again, but would eat elsewhere.

The check in was great, after that it went downhill. The pictures of the resort did not match what it is actually was, the room was dirty and dingy and definitely not 5 star maybe a 2 star. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was so small I could barely use the toilet. Outside, all the chairs were put up by the pool and no one was working at the pool bar and we got there at 5 pm. The other restaurant down the hill also had no one there. The one restaurant that was open the staff was not very friendly and they were out of a lot of items. It was definitely not worth the $331 USD we paid to stay.

The facility had booked some large gatherings booked, and appeared understaffed/unprepared. The food took a long time when ordered, the pool was cloudy (didn’t want to swim in it), nobody tending the pool area/bar area (dirty towels, broken glass, etc. sat around the pool from one afternoon into the next day. Finally had to ask someone to sweep it up).

Overall, the name LA Vue is appropriate. The vue of the harbor/channel/beach, associated islands in the distance as well as sunrise and sunset were unparalled. Service was less than adequate with regrards to room care and the dining with one exception the front the desk, specifically, Mr. King. One expects visiting a country the local cusine should be showcased or at lest be available. I did not visit St. Vincent to consume European or American fare. What I ate was mediocre. The staff were young and had minimal if any training in attending tables or presenting availability of food. Available portions would be appropriate for a five year old. I spent most of my time eating at local restaurants such as Mongoz and French Verandah which had significantly better food and service with similar pricing. Essentially, the quality of the Hotel can be improved with appropriate training, improved food quality/portions and availability of local cusine.

The room was in good condition but we had to lift our luggage up a long flight of stairs... there was no elevator or bell hop. Restaurant service was over priced and poor. E.g... no napkins or cutlery served with food. The obvious had to be asked for. When the cutlery arrived it was of the cheapest stainless steel ($1 store verity). The wait for a simple breakfast was over an hour. Needless to say, I didn't eat at La Vue for the rest of my trip.

Our stay at La Vue Hotel in St. Vincent was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking—the kind of sight that makes you pause and soak it all in. Waking up to that scenery every morning felt like a dream. The staff at the front desk were exceptional, and we especially want to thank Manager Brian, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He was incredibly accommodating—truly one of the kindest and most attentive managers we’ve ever met. By the time we checked out, it felt like we were saying goodbye to family. We also want to recognize Destiny, Mezika Mr. King in the evenings, and Tocarra at the restaurant. Each of them was so friendly, warm, and helpful. Their kindness made our stay even more special and added to the welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. And of course, the Sunday brunch was absolutely delicious, with a generous variety of dishes—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. La Vue Hotel made our trip memorable in every way. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended.
