The location of this unit is at the southern end of Sandbridge, which makes the beach time lovely as there are fewer people than the over crowded VA beach 35 minutes north. The listing said top floor, but that was a lie as there is a unit above and little kids could be heard running back and forth in the early morning hours. While the condo has a coffee maker, no coffee filters exist so be sure to pack those. Cups and glasses are also minimal, and most days we drank from coffee cups as there weren’t enough drinking glasses. Only one garbage bag in the kitchen for a long weekend seemed “cheap” as did the single mini bottles of shampoo/conditioner. The master bed had a waterproof plastic sheet on the mattress crinkling with every movement and the mattress was not very comfortable. Given the closest grocery store is about 20 minutes away(right next to the Vacasa check in office), plan your trips there accordingly. The condo was spacious and plenty of room for the three of us. Covered garage parking and an elevator made getting our things to and from the beach very easy. The beach is well within walking distance for most also. The pool was still closed during our Spring Break trip and the hot tub is in the other building but under construction. It wouldn’t be worth the walk even if it was open though. There are grills a plenty and natural gas feeds then so we took advantage and made some dinner there one night. All in the location and price at Spring Break was great but the host needs to make some improvements to the beds, basic supplies and general amenities within the condo to make a more pleasurable stay.
