Cozy Beach Cottage - Walking distance to the Beach!!

  • Summer Reservations: 7-night minimum Saturday to Saturday. (June.July.August)


    Totally renovated Beach Cottage in seaside neighborhood. Steps away from the Beach Access and only blocks away from Seashore State Park and all it has to offer. There is a large living area with a 55" smart tv, full bathroom and large bedroom at the front. Step up to the kitchen area with all new ss appliances and another "as is" TV mounted in the kitchen. 2 bedrooms and another full bath are located just off the kitchen. Patio door leads to a small deck on the side of the home. 2 outdoor showers. Plenty of off-street private parking for your beach going guests. Enjoy plenty of great local seafood restaurants and entertainment within minutes of this home. This is the best of bay living on the Bay side of Shore Drive. Everything you need to for you beach vacation.

    Included: beach cart, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards and tubes.

Great location! Walked to the beach and grocery store. Great walking trail leading to First Landing state park. Restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable beds for all the grandkids. Wonderful beach accessories ( chairs, umbrellas, buggy, bikes and toys) in the garage.

We needed a local getaway while our hardwood floors were being refinished, and this property was perfect for us and our pets. The property was well stocked with necessities. One of our favorite things was the short walk to the beach to watch the sunset. If we ever need another local getaway, we will definitely use and recommend this property.

The house was clean and well stocked. The location was a very nice street with 40 yard walk to the beach access without the need to cross any busy streets. Plenty of shopping very close by.

Our family loved staying here. The floor plan is a little quirky, but that just comes from adding on to what began as a small house and actually adds to the charm. Functionally, it was just fine. The house was clean and well supplied with essentials, and the beds were comfortable. The garage is loaded with beach equipment as well. The location close to the beach (easy walking distance) was really nice, though it rained on us every day we were here. ;) Also close by was First Landing State Park and their beautiful trails, and many great restaurants. A grocery store was just around the corner too. My wife and I also thought the many post-it notes around the house with helpful tips were a nice, friendly touch. With our daughter living in Virginia Beach, this won't be our last trip to the area and this house will be a the top of our list of places to stay again.

I dont know where to start. This adorable cottage exceeded expectations. I truly felt like I was at home or a friend's house. I was so impressed by all of the details to make a stay so enjoyable. Hand mirror in bathroom, full length mirrors on doors. Fully stocked with everything including paper towels, Kleenex, cleaning supplies, spices, and other essentials, plenty of nice beach things (chairs, cart, beach towels). Nice kitchenware, I actually have the same drinkware at my house! The artwork and decor are really great! Front porch/patio was so relaxing to hang out with family and our labs. Comfortable beds. You know you are at a pretty cool place when you see a copy of Chesapeake on the shelf. Oh and the Jeep room! The place was really clean and inviting. I really could keep going on. What a gem! Owner very communicative and warm. I will definitely stay here again.
