So the house was great, the weather, not so much. The coldest weather in VA in decades. So we watched the ocean from the beautiful living area. Host was responsive to our questions. I would book it again.

The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. Access to the beach was very convenient. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Plenty of board games were available and we made good use of them. Lastly, our host is a gem and very accommodating. I had to do several airport pickups and she allowed me to drop off my groceries a couple of hours early. I think Christmas in VA Beach may be our family’s new holiday location.

I'll begin by saying that we had a fantastic trip to Sea Watch last week. If you're looking for a place to be near the ocean with family and friends, I highly recommend it.The property manager, Cathy, is awesome. Beach houses invariably have issues and quirks. Well, we had an issue with an AC unit and Cathy was corresponding with us at 10pm to help and she had a technician out to fix the unit first thing the next morning. Cathy saved our vacation.The house is better equipped than even what is shown in the pictures. There is a second refrigerator downstairs, for example.Our kids loved the pool and the fact that we could easily visit the beach. Our kids were, however, sad that there weren't TVs in the bedrooms, but my wife and I couldn't have been happier. The only thing we would note as being at all negative was the layout. The beach exits on both the upper and lower levels go either through a bedroom or right next to a bedroom. For us, this worked well because it meant that we could control whether our kids could get to the pool. I could see it being annoying for other families.

Our stay was outstanding! Thank you so much for the very prompt responses to my questions and the overall hospitality! The home was clean, well decorated and fully stocked. The location directly on the beach can’t be beat! The beautiful new pool was an added touch. My only suggestion would be to add a little bit of shade to the pool area or back deck. It’s nice to come back from the beach and find a little reprieve from the sun. All in all, 5 stars and we plan on trying to come back!

Family memories created at Sea Watch

Let’s start with the host. Cathy was amazing during the booking, prior to arrival, during our stay and afterwards. During our stay she immediately addressed two concerns I raised to her - which was really important and made the stay that much more enjoyable. The house had a brand new pool - which really made for a nice beach and pool vacation. Oceanfront, easy access to/from made the beach experience so relaxing. We had 9 guests (6 adults and 3 kids under 4) so for a house that sleeps 20 plenty of room. Also, our dog was able to enjoy the trip too. He’s part of the family and the house was great for him. So glad it’s a pet friendly house.While I’m not a huge fan of street parking right outside of the house - this section of sandfiddler road allows street parking - so a minor thing but no real impact to our day. Just that cars were always parked there.The screened in porch was great for dinner and playing games. It needed a nice cleaning after we arrived - but it was worth it.Created some amazing memories - we will be back.

Our stay at Seawatch was nothing short of incredible. This was, by far, the closest home we’ve ever stayed in to the beach—just steps away from the sand! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the decor. It was absolutely stunning—so thoughtfully and beautifully done that I found myself raving about it the entire week.The house was spotless, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need (including games for the whole family), and every single room was lovely. The beds were honestly the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in—we all slept like babies every night. The outdoor space was just as great, with a gorgeous pool and plenty of deck space to relax and enjoy the view.One of the biggest highlights, though, was the communication with the owner. She was incredibly responsive—not just during our stay, but for months beforehand, answering all my questions and making the whole experience feel so personal and easy.I’ll be honest—it’s hard to afford a place this nice (for our personal family) but it was worth every single penny. We made memories as a family that we’ll never forget, and we truly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Seawatch. If you’re lucky enough to book this home, just know you’re in for something really special.

We booked this house as a little getaway for our immediate family, siblings and their families, and our parents to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday — and it was such a wonderful experience! Everyone had a great time, from the grandparents to the birthday girl herself.The house was spotless and beautifully decorated with a beachy, relaxing vibe. The kitchen was fully stocked, and Cathy has truly thought of everything to make it feel like a home away from home.Cathy was also incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. This is a wonderful place to stay in Sandbridge! You can walk right out the back door onto the beach - which was incredibly helpful with small kiddos. We had 3 different families in this house and it was more than enough space, no one felt on top of each other. The views are great, bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen was equipped with everything we needed! Highly recommend!

I’ll just off season rental

The property appeared a little run down with the outside deck areas and some needed repairs inside. We were greeted by the manager to whom we expressed concerns with the dirty, pollen cover closed in porch and broken outside furniture which was also reported to the manager. It did not appear the closed in deck was power washed as indicated by the manager who later stated it would be done in May. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels and dishwasher soap due to limited or no supply provided. When addressing concerns I was told it is done the end of May. This is a great location and the house was comfortable despite the issues with the heat/air conditioner. I would not recommend renting this in the off season since the house was not ready for use upon arrival. The air conditioning/ heat was being serviced and the outside amenities could not be used

BEST FRIENDS made FAMILY getaway

This house was perfect for our three families to spread out but also let the kids bunk up and enjoy downstairs all to themselves! We loved going down to the park, going to the market for donuts, walking the beach and enjoying the beautiful views. We can’t wait to stay here again next year. The house was well stocked, comfortable, and the host was very responsive to any questions.we loved it!
