Great place with a nasty surprise when I got home...

Overall, a lovely little place just a few minutes walk to the beach. The AC worked beautifully, and despite the small space, the unit felt inviting and homey.Small issue: the place is starting to slide into disrepair. For example, the shower unit (both the spout and the faucet) were nearly falling out of the wall.Big issue: I just received an email saying the property owner dinged with with a (bogus) property damage charge, claiming I broke the screen and made a screw from the door handle disappear (???). Ridiculous. Please beware that if you stay here, the owner may blame you for their neglect.

Reservation gone wrong

Property was great. VRBO screwed up our reservation. They charged us more than was originally quoted and cut our stay from 7 days down to 6 days. Property manager said that he couldn't do anything about it. I will think twice about VRBO next time.

Cute cozy place

We loved our stay. Lots of dolphins and other wildlife within walking distance. Gated community so we didn't have to worry about theft. The daily visit from wild turtles begging for food was adorable

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was vert cozy and cute. It was super cool being able to walk across the street to the beach. I used the kayaks a couple of times which was a real treat for me. I felt very safe in the community and the people were very friendly.

Great Weekend Retreat

We were very pleased with the accommodations and spent each morning and evening relaxing on the expansive and beautiful porch overlooking the water sipping coffee or eating chocolate. The RV had everything we needed -- even bug repellent to keep the mosquitos at bay! Very cozy, adorably decorated, all appliances and facilities operated as they should. Plenty of pillows and extra towels. The neighborhood was so private and quiet; we walked and biked through it. Beach is conveniently across the street and, though a beach buggy, kayaks, and other items were provided for us, it was too chilly for us to do anything but get our feet wet. Check in was easy. Found seafood restaurants within easy walking and/or driving distance, and the visit to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park was worth all the walking we did! Definitely would stay here again.

Relaxing on the Bay!

A very well-appointed and clean property! Fantastic decking! The owner stocked the home with many necessities. Great decor; very inviting and comfortable. We didn't use the property amenities, but they looked nice. We highly recommend this property and the owner!

Adorable Beach Cottage!

We were really pleased with our stay here! The decor was beautiful, and we also really loved the covered deck and the abundance of seating out there; it was the perfect spot to enjoy our coffee in the mornings. We found this place to be very well stocked with pretty much anything we could need, and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all! Our kids slept on the sofa bed, which they found to be very comfortable, and they loved how they could enclose their little sleeping area with the curtains and make a cozy little nook. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks for this special little gem of a cottage!

Secluded Retreat

The cottage and community had all the amenities we were looking for and was cozy. The porch offered wonderful family time outside while it rained. We really enjoyed fishing, kyaking the bay, pickelball and the secluded beach. Our stay was everything we wanted.

A True Back Bay Beauty!

We can't believe how lucky we were to find this amazing place on the Back Bay. A cute and cozy cottage in a very relaxed RV resort community. And it's in a great location for exploring the Back Bay and all that Sandbridge has to offer. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need. There is plenty of space to relax inside and outside, including shaded decking for meals and waterside deck and dock lounging. We had many peaceful morning coffees and lovely evening cocktails on the deck. Bikes and kayaks were at the ready as well as a stocked beach cart to wheel your stuff on the short walk to the ocean. I can't say enough about the place. Mark was a perfect host, quickly available, responsive and always very helpful. We hope to return again next year!

Sandbridge

This property was perfect for us! It’s close to the bay and the beach, so we could walk or ride bikes to either. Right down the road is Back Bay Wildlife Refuge with trails and kayak launches and magnificent sunsets! The accommodations met all our needs and was well supplied. The wrap around porch overlooking the water was our favorite place for breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine at night. Thank you!
