Fall Getaway

Overall great experience at the property. Potential improvements would be improving the internet. It would come in and out. While I don’t expect the house to have much in it, there should at least be one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom to get us started. These are meant to be helpful hints only, because the property was spot on otherwise and the management team was helpful and responsive.

Spider City Vacation!

VA Beach is BEAUTIFUL!! Our accommodations were beautiful, however we could not enjoy any of the porches/balconies that offered grand views of the ocean and bay due to the spider infestation!! Spiders/ spider webs were prolific in the passageways and common areas. Accessing the parking/storage(neitherare numerically sequential!?!?)/Beach/Pool access- very confusing. Signage would be a BIG help!! Even alphabetizing the buildings to differentiate A from B as that is not initially obvious. The pool areas were lovely and we used them each day. We are hoping to return next year-hopefully the spider situation will be resolved!

Fun in the Sun

We had a nice time at this beautiful property. We had 7 adults staying in the condo. The spaciousness of the unit was great. The decor was lovely and the kitchen had all needed equipment for a family gathering. The only issue about cleanliness was that some of the AC air vents blowing down had visible mold when you looked up at them. A good cleaning would improve. The outside of the premises ie walkway, rafters, garage, were very dirty. This is a ding on the condo association not the property owner. We understood that the condo fees are very high and yet there were spiders and dirty webs etc all above walkways. It looked as if there had been no cleaning of those common walkways in a very long time. My biggest frustration was figuring out the parking arrangements based on the map given to us. Very confusing and complicated in the garage. Getting to the beach through the garage took some experience. It was not very well marked under there. We were happy to find the pools still available the end of September. A nice surprise. All in all it was a great vacation and I would probably rent again. I really enjoyed Sandbridge and might also look into other options.

Great place

Great and spacious condo. Upstairs room was great for a couple with baby while the rest of us stayed on main level. Great views and all around comfortable beach spot. Only complaint was distance to get to elevator and cars downstairs. Otherwise highly recommend.

Beautiful condo!

We had a wonderful vacation! The condo was so nice - not one complaint! So clean, great furniture, super comfy mattresses. Great kitchen. Would DEFINITELY rent this condo again. Fabulous!

Nice condo

Condo was very roomy and nice. The only down fall is they only would give two keys for the condo complex and we had 3 adult family's staying. This made it some what inconvenient at times if we all were not together. When we arrived the condo had quite a few flies inside that were annoying until we could get rid of them.

Beautiful Condo - great location!

The condo was clean and ready when we arrived at 4 pm on Saturday. Parking was just as described in the email, call from the management company in advance and packet. It was made very clear to hang your parking pass in your windshield - which we did. We had a 3rd car and we parked it in the pier parking lot next door and paid $5 a day to park that extra car. So parking was no issue. Everything was just as pictured and described. The only surprise is that the pool was closed at our building. Not a big deal since there are 2 other pools that can be used. But it would have been nice if we were told in advance and given a discount because it was an inconvenience. Also, it would be nice if there were more luggage carts. If you are renting this condo, I suggest putting a collapsible dolly in your car to help get bags and grocery’s up to the Condo (or would be nice if the owners provided one in the Condo). Also, it would be nice if they had more than 2 key fobs for the elevator. It was tricky to coordinate 12 people w teens in the mix w just two fobs. Overall we had a great stay and would rent there again! Thank you!

Great stay

Pros: The condo was beautiful. It was stocked with everything you need! Kitchen supplies-towels-linens. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the beach toys/chairs/umbrellas in the storage unit they had for us. We liked having tennis courts close to the building as well as a small playground. The owner responded quickly with any questions and was easy to deal with. Cons-garage parking spots were extremely tight. I’m a small lady and could barely squeeze my body in my door. I then would pull out so everyone else could get in. Second-My husband saw a snake in the storage area. (A huge phobia of mine). Third-We get 2 key passes which are needed for building entry and elevators. I appreciate the security-but 2 keys isn’t enough for a 4 bedroom. The condo itself had a number lock so we didn’t need a key for that-but it was a huge hassle and many extra trips were made bc one kid has to go pee while the some wanted to go to the pool and some to the beach.. we could never get the keys in that many places. The condo is at the far end of the strip-it’s great for peace and quiet, but a hike to any store. Could be a pro or con.

Great location-But

Loved the view of the sound and ocean. Comfortable for what we needed. Enjoyed the Beach and nearby Golf. The sanctuary property needs some care . Seems worn out hallways elevators garage all need a power washing. The pool in our building was “closed for the season”. So the small swim up bar pool was packed all the time. I would not have rented this if I knew the pool was closed. The units pictures of the outside decking area are tricky. The main deck was lovely, shaded throughout the day. But just Enough space for 4 people. We had a nice time

The unit was clean and spacious. Check in was easy. Oceanfront property with a storage unit with beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. We didn't have young children with us but if you do, there are toys, books, movies, kid friendly dishes and silverware. We definitely wanted to stayo her. I highly recommend this property.

The Perfect Weekend

This condo was a perfect fit for our family. We travel a lot for my husband's work, so have stayed in many different places all over the world. My husband had to work in Virginia Beach over the weekend, so our whole family joined him. With 4 kids between the ages of 2-19, it is challenging to find a place where we all "fit" and that has something for everyone and this condo fit the bill! The condo was nicely decorated, warm and inviting. With some food challenges, we tend to eat IN a lot--even while traveling and the kitchen was very nicely stocked for all our needs. The other thing we have a hard time finding, is a decent bed, and the beds here had great mattresses which means no required trip to the chiro now that we are home. Our 2 year old LOVED all the extra toys and books and I loved that the house was kid safe & kid friendly and I didn't have to move or adjust anything to make it safe for him! My older kids loved the easy access to the beach. We are frequent visitors to Virginia Beach, but this was our first time visiting the Sandbridge area. It is a little bit out of the way if you are doing lots of activities in Virginia Beach, but I loved it for that very reason! I know its probably a lot busier in summer, but we enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was in October and that it provided us a relaxed, peaceful weekend. With my husband traveling to VB 3-4 times every month, we will definitely be back!

Great place to stay..some minor annoyances

This property was wonderful for our two families. Plenty of space and all the balconies with views. My only complaints would be that you have to swipe to get in to most doors and elevators, and you are only given two swipe cards. It was hard to go different places when you had to have a key card to get in almost every door.

Gorgeous condo!

We had 7 adults who spent the week here for a family vacation. The condo is gorgeous, clean, and well-equipped-just as pictured. It is located on the corner on the street side, but has beautiful views of the ocean and bay. The Sanctuary complex itself is beautiful with several pools and a swim-up bar. However, we found the parking garage and storage unit system to be extremely confusing and haphazard. And the directional signage throughout was severely lacking. This would not deter us from staying here again, however.
