“This beautifully renovated farmhouse is the perfect blend of comfort and charm. I cannot express enough how gorgeous this home and location is - I could wash dishes at the sink all day and never complain! The hostess made sure that everything we might need was at our fingertips. Our family was able to tune out the rest of the world and simply focus on each other. Instead of screen time, we enjoyed board games, exploring outside along the river, and cracking jokes around the dinner table. If you...

“We really appreciated a nice, comfortable place to stay that made it possible to travel with multiple wolfhounds. The house is spacious & felt like a place you could actually live. The floors aren’t slick (a definite plus for our older hound). There are great areas to walk dogs. And the view from the back of the house is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.”

It officially holds the record as the tiniest tiny house we’ve ever stayed in, making for a fun and unique minimalist experience. The setting is extremely private, peaceful, quiet, and relaxing—an excellent spot for stargazing! Plus, it's conveniently located just 7 minutes away from all the activities at Oglebay Park Resort. “Excellent in every way! Exceptionally clean and comfortable house in a private country setting. Family friendly and pet friendly. Sharon and Jay are the perfect hosts! They want you to have a comfortable and pleasant stay and will communicate and respond quickly if you need something. The house is older but very well maintained. I loved that it is full of history and each room has a story. It was incredibly stocked with basic necessities and much more. The children had a blast with the toys,...
