“What an amazing property. Wildlife was abundant and you could hear birds and cows. I wish that the house had not still been set up for a wedding reception. There should be sofas in the main area for conversations when not being rented for a wedding. A set of instructions would have been helpful such as for the fireplace and how to use the oven. We figured out the latter but could not find the remote for the fireplace. It was 39 degrees one morning. These are tiny issues. Overall it was a great...

“We stayed in the Willow Suite which is on the ground floor around the back. Very quite and relaxing space. Had coffee out back in the morning over looking the river. A very nice property. Planning a return trip to Capon Bridge in the fall and will stay here again. Ian was fantastic to deal with. Very prompt communication.”

“This place is great! Exactly how it’s described and designed for a quick stay! Perfect for Hatfield n McCoy trail riders! We stayed after our overnight investigation at The old Williamson Hospital! Loved it! ”

“Nice little place in the mountains. Great location for motorcycle enthusiasts. Rooms had all the latest technologies.”

“Our stay was excellent. Convenient location and very peaceful.”

“We had a wonderful stay in the West Virginia mountains! This is such a unique and special place, with a beautiful yurt and a wood-fired sauna that made the experience even more memorable. Everything was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully arranged. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone...

“Wish the oven would have worked. Need a rug inside by the front door. Wish tvs would have worked properly, our neighbors were controlling our tv. Was very convenient to the trail system and very good parking!”

“Clean and peaceful.”

We were only there for a 2 day weekend and didn’t get to take advantage of everything the resort offered like the pool and the grounds walking paths. I plan on returning for a longer stay in the spring/ summer. Bonus - I’m from Ohio and it doesn’t take long to get there - we can drive . The only thing- I think the restaurant is a little pricey. 38 a person for the buffet- it was good food but not 40 a person good . I’m not sure about regular...
