“Wonderful character hotel on waterfront with amazing history. Rooms well furnished and extremely comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the kitchen provided an excellent vegan breakfast as well. Only drawback is lack of dedicated parking which was fine in the off-season (winter) but would definitely become a challenge when the town is busy in summer. ”

While the walk into Dartmouth was more than just a gentle stroll, it was a great way to work up an appetite for the town’s restaurants and cafes. We found enough to keep us occupied in Dartmouth and only felt the need to use our car on a rainy day.”

“The few days were spent in a very comfortable apartment that had all the necessary fixtures and fittings to support our stay. However, the only concern was that the quilt on the beds were not summer quilts and as such sleeping was a problem, so much so that one of us slept in a single bed in the other bedroom. Perhaps this change during the summer months could be considered.”

“The property itself okay, but unclean. The bedding was clean, but the carpeted areas and soft furnishings were not. Crumbs on the sofa and visibly dirty dusty carpet, the mattress was deeply stained brown and filled with crumbs and food waste under it. Has some cute features throughout , however, the biggest issue with this property is the incredibly vile smell of drainage or sewage that permeates in the living room. You cannot be in that room without the windows open and spraying air...
