“Baglio Occhipinti feels like staying at a family’s country home. It’s very peaceful, beautifully decorated, food is just perfect. It is truly a magic experience.
The breakfast spread every morning surprises you with the most delicious bites. Figs with prosciutto, crostata that tastes like it just came out of the oven.
We took the cooking class and I must say it was a blast. The chef is the nicest and will forever live in our hearts. We had so much fun and learned how to make pasta from...

“Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und hatte eine riesige Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer.
Der Strand war direkt vor der Haustür und sehr schön. Auch der Vermieter war nett und freundlich. Das Bad könnte mal renoviert werden. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.”

“The accommodation was truly wonderful! Beautiful location between vineyards and very quite. If you want to be close to a town this is not your spot. The swimming pool has a great view over the vineyard. The bathrooms were clean and good showers. The only downside is the amount of chairs around the dining table and the table outside. The house has 10 beds but only 6 chairs inside and outside...”

“Cons: There was a power cut in the morning and when we informed the host they did not reply. We waited for a while to see if the power would come back on and to see if the host would reply to say they were coming to fix etc but we never heard from them again and so just left. We still haven’t heard anything. Disappointing finish to the stay to be honest. Don’t mind hosts not being on site or there to check in as long as they are available in case there’s an issue.”

“The hotel is beautifully restored. Too bad we only stayed 1 night , it would have been nice to stay another day and chill out in the pool. We enjoyed an aperitivo on the rooftop and the sunset was gorgeous. The staff we very nice and showed us the whole place . Conchita in the restaurant was very nice and Omma and the front desk Valerie and the rest of the staff were all nice.”

“Lovely amenities including a good size pool and an excellent breakfast.
Staff are very friendly and helpful with plenty of ideas on where to visit etc
This is a bit hard to find - use Google maps for the best directions- but worth the effort. A few miles outside Ragusa so a car is essential.
Very happy to recommend”
