First floor room (gecko) has terrible smell (possibly mold) that we had to endure through the night. We stayed here only one night and it was a very tiring experience with trying to fix that smell but couldn’t do it at all despite of trying candle, room freshener, my perfume. We ended up sleeping upstairs in one unit to get some sleep. The weird part is that property is at a great place and upstairs unit is very well maintained, so not sure why such a simple but important check is missed. We reached at 9:30 pm around and it was the last thing that we needed. Unfortunate but host should pay more attention before guests arrive, and fix these things beforehand. Kids couldn’t even enter into lower unit at all. The entire stay smell was so overwhelming. Hosts tried to send someone but it was too late for them to tend. Disappointed overall.
