    Nestled into a native Ohia Lehua forest, this Big Island vacation rental is conveniently located for your next Hawaii getaway. Relax on the private lanai or enjoy breakfast at the picnic table while you listen to the sounds of native birds (some of which are endangered), or just curl up in front of the gas fireplace with a good book.





    What's nearby:

    Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is only three miles away and is home to great hikes and breathtaking lava flow views. The historic town of Hilo is 28 miles north, where you can find many great shops, restaurants, and the famous twice-weekly farmer's market. Enjoy the sands of Onekahakaha Beach Park, just north of Hilo, or drive 44 miles to the clothing-optional black sands of Kehena Beach.

Very comfortable home in a lovely rainforest.

The three private areas connected by the deck were perfect for us to spend time with our grown children and some grandkids and for everyone to be able to get some rest. Very close to the Volcanos National park and perfect for lava viewing. Great neighborhood for walking.

Volcano Retreat

Great location near Volcanos NP and the small town of Volcano. House was well kept and nicely furnished. Beds were good. 2 outside bedrooms were nice for privacy. Property had lush vegetation and was in a quiet neighborhood.

Peaceful retreat

We spend 3 wonderful nights here and loved it more than any other spot on the islands. The people in Volcano are the "real" Hawaiians. I would highly recommend staying here!

Quiet stay with the hapu'u tree ferns

Lovely place, well outfitted, with a nice configuration of our group (a couple, and two singles). I really liked the decor and artwork -- very fitting for the location and not just cookie cutter "tropical" decor. All of us would recommend this place.

We had a great stay here mid November. The house was wonderful. While we only had a couple of days of nice weather it was still an enjoyable trip. A great location to visit Volcano National park and also take day trips to beaches near Hilo, botanical gardens and waterfalls.

Wonderful choice for three couples

Spectacular home in the jungle

This is a beautiful place to stay tucked quietly in the jungle. It has very comfortable rooms and the main kitchen living room area is great for group meals and gathering together. Just a short drive to the Volcanoes National Park and Hilo is not too far away. Would definitely recommend for a family or group.

Such a lovely house in a cute neighborhood. Not having a functioning washer was a bit inconvenient but overall a nice place. Second time staying here and will definitely consider staying here again.

We loved the home. It has a great area for people to congregate and discuss "stuff". The beds were comfortable. It was also very convenient for each group to have their own bathroom. I would stay again.

Great secluded house in the forest

We really enjoyed the peaceful house in nature as well as the cooler climate (compared to other places in Hawaii). The stars at night were super clear and we really enjoyed watching the stars from the house.

Had a great time there, loved the feel of the home, so country living. My family had a great time. Liked that the rooms were on the other side of the house. Big dinning area. Felt very homey.
