  • Whether you're seeking a peaceful couple's escape, a fun-filled weekend with friends, or a relaxing family holiday, this spacious beachfront home has room for everyone. From the moment you step inside and take in the stunning ocean view, your beach getaway begins.
    Unwind to the sights and sounds of the sea, with panoramic views of Mayor Island, the Aldermans, Karewa, and The Mount from this ideally located home-just steps from the beach access across the road A permanently dog-friendly beach begins just 100 metres from the house and stretches all the way to Bowentown, making it perfect for your four legged companion.
    Take a leisurely 5-minute walk to the local dairy for ice cream or grab some classic Kiwi fish and chips. The nearby bike trail is perfect for a bit of adventure, right around the corner.
    This two-level home is designed for easy holiday living. Upstairs features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens onto a sunny deck complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture-perfect for those laid-back summer evenings. You'll also find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet on this level.
    Downstairs, a spacious rumpus room offers a Smart TV, board games, outdoor games, and unlimited Wi-Fi for everyone to enjoy. Two additional bedrooms, a second bathroom/laundry (with shower, toilet, washer & dryer), and a queen-size sofa bed in the rumpus room complete the ground floor layout.
    Step outside to a fully fenced, generous section-great for kids and dogs to roam safely. There's even room to pitch a tent, plus plenty of off-street parking for vehicles or a boat.
    Please NOTE:
    * The garage is NOT AVAILABLE for guest use
    * In line with Kiwi Bach tradition, guests are asked to bring their own linen (sheets,
    Pillowcases, and towels) All beds come with mattress protectors, duvets, pillows
    and pillow protectors.
    * All beds (including the Queen sofa bed in the rumpus) were purchased new in
    2022

    This home is not just a beach side haven-it's also the perfect base for exploring the area's stunning coastal tracks, including the scenic walks to Orokawa and Homunga Bay, as well as the Karangahake Gorge trails and historic Martha and Union Hill gold mining sites.

We loved our stay here. Perfect location, opposite the beach, can hear the waves. Fully fenced, ideal for the dog. The owners have thought of everything so you don't have to, its home away from home.

Relaxing weekend with friends

We all had a great trip and Waihi and what a great house to stay in right near the beach. It was a perfect fit for us and we will definitely be looking to go back in the future.

Quality holiday at the beach

A great location and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Even beach games are supplied Great setup and layout for two families. Highly recommend a beach break here.

The host was amazing. The house was awesome with great amenities. Awesome that we could take my dog. My family loved the experience. Totally recommend the house. Beds were comfy and so close to the beach. We had an amazing time.

This property was fabulous! Spacious and a true home away from home. It had absolutely everything we needed for our trip. Good-sized well-equipped kitchen, good wi-fi, close to everything but far enough away for peace and quiet

Gorgeous location and excellent accommodation

Difficult to find accommodation for a work group but this house was just great. Large, spacious, plenty of beds and a lovely panorama.

Such a great place to chill out for a couple of days with the family and kids. Amazing view, relaxed vibe and lovely property. Hopefully come back sometime soon!

Great place in Waihi beach

Really nice place to stay in Waihi beach. fully fenced section is great for our dog. Place is thoughtfully decorated and Rach is a grate host(communication is very clear and prompt)will come back.

Fantastic location and well equipped bach

Our family loved our week at Waihi Beach. The Bach is in a fantastic location and very well equipped. Clean and easy to get to. Local dairy nearby and Surf Shack (excellent Burger/lunch spot) is an easy walk away. Great location to have a relaxing holiday at.

Great weekend break.

We loved the location and the house. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of gadgets. Would definitely return.

House & location is absolutely beautiful! Super clean & tidy with a lot of essentials you'll need. Very secure for dogs to roam & play. But most importantly host was lovely & made contact on day one for any needs or concerns. Thank you Rach will definitely be back again

Amazing Location

Canadian Family Vacation

Amazing beachfront view access to beach and fishing.Rachel is a fantastic host, excellent communication and appreciated her special attention to details. The house was spotless plenty of room for two families and great selection of games, books and beach accessories making it a highlight of our trip.The Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise!

A weekend at the beach.

Our weekend stay was fantastic. Ideal location with fabulous views. Had everything we needed and then some, particularly well furbished kitchen. Loved the kiwi welcome with dip and chips and timtams. Thank you.

Relax and watch the world go by

A great home for a relaxing weekend away with family , ages ranging from 1-69. The deck with sea view was also able to be secured for the little ones. Was amazing to be able to bring the pooches as well . Highly recommend

Lovely place, beautiful location. Was everything pictured and described, but you cant describe a vibe..it's got it! Be careful., we didn't want to leave..
