¿Por qué alojarse en un hotel cuando puede alojarse en un hermoso, cómodo y espacioso condominio frente al golf en el Fairway Villas at Waikoloa Beach Resort?

Nuestra casa en condominio cuenta con 2 habitaciones, 2 baños completos, más un loft configurado de la siguiente manera:

* Dormitorio principal - cama king
* 2do dormitorio - 2 camas individuales
* Loft - 2 camas individuales
* También tenemos un sofá cama Queen disponible

Nuestra unidad es muy espaciosa, con 1300 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable, además de un lanai cubierto con vista al campo de golf Kings y tiene una vista sin obstáculos de las montañas Kohala y el volcán Mauna Kea. También puede ver el campo de petroglifos hawaianos. Nuestra unidad es silenciosa, ya que se encuentra en el tercer piso (superior), pero se puede acceder fácilmente a través de elevadores o escaleras. Los techos abovedados dan una sensación de apertura y luz. Los nuevos y hermosos pisos de madera dura de bambú se sienten frescos y suaves. Hay aire acondicionado central, y hay ventiladores de techo en cada habitación y el desván para esos días tropicales de Hawai.

Alojarse en nuestro condominio es una alternativa conveniente a alojarse en un hotel. Nuestra casa está totalmente equipada: la cocina cuenta con una estufa lisa, microondas nuevo, refrigerador inoxidable con hielo / agua filtrada en la puerta y lavaplatos. Para su comodidad, también se encuentra una lavadora / secadora apiladora de tamaño completo más nueva.

La tarifa incluye la televisión por cable, Internet Wi-Fi, llamadas locales y de larga distancia (a nivel nacional + Canadá). Recientemente actualizamos nuestros televisores a pantallas planas. También proporcionamos un reproductor de música iPod / iPad / mp3 / Bluetooth para la sala principal. Hay un sistema Wii en la sala de estar con algunos juegos.

Fairway Villas cuenta con un hermoso centro de recreación con una piscina de borde infinito, bañera de hidromasaje y gimnasio a solo un minuto a pie de la unidad. Los huéspedes y residentes también pueden usar las barbacoas de gas ubicadas junto a la piscina.

Nuestra unidad cuenta con espectaculares vistas a las montañas de las montañas Kohala, así como a Mauna Kea. El intrigante e histórico campo de petroglifos y King's Trail también están a un minuto a pie, y se pueden ver desde nuestro Lanai. ¡Los cursos de playa y reyes de clase mundial en Waikoloa Beach están a las afueras! Great place to stay

This is a great place in a great location. Plenty of room for our family of five. We stay at Fairway Villas every year and the loft units are the best for keeping all the kids happy.Talked with the owner several times as we are looking to buy eventually. Great wealth of information for us. If you like to watch the golfers hitting into the green, this is the perfect place. It sits above the green and the lanai is a great place to enjoy breakfast and watch the action. Definitely recommend this unit for families and large groups.

Great stay

Stayed in this fantastic 2 bedroom loft unit overlooking the golf course. Was an easy walk to all the amenities. We will defiantly be booking this unit again when we need to accomadate the family.

Location is perfect

We had an amazing family vacation to the Big Island and enjoyed our condo as per usual. We’ve rented at the Fairway Villas many times and you can’t beat the location. Peaceful villa in great location

We came to Fairway Villa’s second time. This tine for Ironman race. Like first time, location is perfect for us. Close by beaches and services and within driving distance to Kona. This Villa type easily accommodates our family of five. Six persons would fit in well.

Great place, large enough for a family with two teens

We booked quiet, comfortably spacious and conveniently located condo because we were going to a wedding with 80 other people in Puako and wanted to be close to the wedding and the other guests, staying nearby. The check-in was easy. We actually got to the place early and everything was ready. We were able to get the temperature to a good state very quickly and enjoy Hawaii. The condo has loads of things like beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards and other toys for the beach. The kitchen had lots of condiments so we didn't have to buy a lot of extras that end up going to waste. For location, it is only a few minute walk to Queens and Kings Markets which was great for morning walks. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Relaxation Vacation - Walk to Beach and Shaved Ice!

Every morning was a burst of excitement for the day as we drank our coffee on the balcony soaking up the most beautiful sunrises breaking through the clouds alongside Mauna Kea overlooking the beautiful green golf course. This condo is equipped with all the amenities of being home and on vacation, so much we didn't want to leave. There was plenty of room for my 2 older children, husband and parents. Geoffrey has put a lot of thought into the decorating of the condo to make it feel like paradise. It embodies all things Hawaiian, from the paintings, furnishings, right down to the bedspreads. Thank you for opening your condo to enjoy our vacation! Location: 10 min walk or 3 min drive to the beach. There you can rent a paddleboard or jump on a glassbottom tour or just enjoy the beautiful serene beach (or even sunsets). Plenty of sea life, we saw a manta ray swim by, fish and a turtle relaxing on the sand. Also a 5 min walk from the condo is amazing shaved ice, delicious coffee shops (even a Starbucks, but Island Vintage Coffee was delicious) and acai bowls, as well as a general market for immediate needs. A 25 min drive into Kona you have costco, walmart, target, all the big names. A 10 min drive toward Waikoloa Village toward 49 Black Sand Beach, you'll find Manuelas Malasadas (some of the best we had!) A short drive to Mountain Thunder Coffee in what is considered Cloud Forest. Overall, if we ever revisit Big aisland, this place would be our pick time and time again! Mah

This property was absolutely perfect for us! The access to fun shops and tasty dining was fantastic. It was all close enough that we could send our older kids over to the markets on their own, which they loved. The property is close to many incredible beaches, which we can never get enough of! The property owner was very kind and super easy to work with. I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Great Apartment and Location

Apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Location was very close to markets and beach. The patio had great views of mauna kea in the morning, and if you get lucky on a clear night you can see a good bit of stars. One note was that the wifi was spotty which made it difficult to work, but otherwise we had a fantastic stay.

Location, location, location

Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and beach. Loved being entertained watching the golfers from the lanai. Kitchen has all appliances and tools needed for meal and drink prep. Used the air conditioning the first evening just to get the condo cooled off, but the breezes were perfect the rest of the time.

Lessons learned

If you chose to rent this property, I’d recommend documenting some video and photo evidence of the place at check in. We had a nice stay but after we got home we were charged hundreds of dollars for a damaged cooktop. We used the cooktop one time to warm up frozen vegetables. The irony of the situation was that because of flight delays and rescheduling, we were actually only in the unit 4 out of the 7 days we had it rented. When you add in the charges after we got home, it ended up being a VERY expensive 4 day stay. We had no recourse other than to pay the charge because we had nothing to prove we didn’t cause the damage. Fairway Villas is lovely and we’ve rented atleast 5-6 units here over the years and will be back in the future. We will chose another option next time.

Nice condo in prime location with a beautiful view of golf course and mountains. Needs some minor repairs which didn't affect our stay at all. Gym and pool were great, and walking distance to shops, groceries and restaurants was a plus!

Bad owner not available - sweat lodge, Part 1

On arrival, we discovered the AC was set at 88 degrees with window blinds left open. Outside temperature was about 90 degrees. Condo felt like a sweat lodge and was not fit for habitation. We didn’t know how to adjust the temperature setting on the AC. It was a Nest thermostat we knew the owner could control remotely. I called the owner and left an urgent message. I also called the VRBO help desk. They tried but could not help. They left messages for the owner via text and phone. 3 hours later, I received a cryptic text from the owner. I called the owner who complained he had multiple messages from VRBO. He had not listened to my voicemail. I explained the situation. The owner did not express concern or regret. He was concerned with how expensive his electric bills were and the difficulty of managing a vacation rental. He was not responsible for setting the thermostat or for his cleaning crew’s actions! He did not feel it necessary to check the AC setting before a new guest arrived. There was no concern for our comfort. The owner was condescending, patronizing and insulting. Eventually, I told him he was not helpful and hung up. Through trial and error, I changed the temperature setting. After reducing it to 74 degrees it took 10 hours to cool down. Our first day and night were a dreadful experience. The owner doesn’t understand property management or customer service. If VRBO continues this property listing, they should require local property management by professionals.

Great location

Thanks! The beach supplies were on point, cooler was well needed. The home is clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was stocked with seasoning and well equipped with kitchen supplies although I didn’t get to use the kitchen much this trip. Queens market was walking distance, we survived on cheap delicious spamsubi’s 🍣. If I stay on this side of the island I recommend this home.
