“We enjoyed a short 2-night stay at this home and were very impressed, to say the least. Check-in was easy, the kitchen had everything we needed, the spa was amazing and the house itself is very homely and nicely laid out. Our hosts were extremely prompt with replies even late in the evening. Street parking can mean a 3-4 minute walk back to the house, if no space nearby, which was not bad at all.”

“We really liked the 3 storey townhouse. If there were any issues, they were dealt with promptly. Only tricky bit was parking, as it was a battle to find a park before 3pm. ”

“My two sons and I fitted well into this tiny but thoughtfully laid-out house. They shared the double bed, I took the couch - just what I like, though some may find it a little lumpy. The heater did a good job of keeping us warm through frosty nights. Small house, so small fridge, small bench, small cooking facilities, simple meals worked best. A minor point: would have preferred to have a large glass bowl or dish for use in the microwave oven. Quiet suburb, picturesque location near a river,...

“Wonderful house, very comfortable and well appointed. Set back from main road so no real traffic noise. A bit tricky for car access as divided road but easily manageable once you know then roads. Definitely recommend.”

“We spent a week at this flat while my daughter attended a holiday workshop nearby. The location in Merivale/St Albans was excellent, with good restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby.Clark was a lovely host who kindly accommodated our changing needs.”
