They "said" they had an electrical issue and contacted Expedia to tell me that "they put me up" in the "roadside motel" across the street. First, I did not receive any communication from Expedia, so, did they actually call them? Secondly, the hotel had my phone number and email, THEY could have contacted me. I was not informed until I showed up to a LOCKED door "DURING CHECK IN HOURS" with no reception. I called the number and it replied this number is not answering calls. How do you feel with no communication? Third, who is to say I have a cellphone. I did, however, it was an international phone costing ME money to make the call. Fourth, the property they "put us up in" looked like a place along an abandoned town in an old western movie. Bottomline is this - If this property does NOT have the courtesy to TALK to you under conditions like this, then, they do not deserve your business.
