Mountain Cabin in Town

  • Located up on top of a hill on 3 acres surrounded by wooded areas, our beautiful recently renovated A-Frame cabin is only a few minutes from downtown Wake Forest and 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh! The Mountain Cabin in Town is extremely private offering plenty of privacy for your stay, while still offering shopping, dining, and activities just a short ways away.

    The Mountain Cabin in Town has an outdoor pool that is open for use from April to Oct, weather and temperature permitting. The pool has a heater which keeps it warm early/late season and during any chilly evenings.

    Other amenities provided include bed linens, bath towels, pool towels, washer and dryer, a well-stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, 2 fire pits and plenty of parking…everything to help your stay feel like home away from home.

    There is a "Welcome book" on the table as you walk into the house with house rules, property information, and local activities that may interest you. It is also available electronically at https://tinyurl.com/3s7r8zck

We had a great time staying at the mountain Cabin in Town. Very clean and beautiful property. They have the yard beautifully lit at night. My son loved all the activities from the pool to the tennis table to the games inside he was greatly entertained the whole time. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook meals. Overall it has been a great stay.

The house was very clean. Edgar was very responsive when we had questions. The outside property was like staying at a park. The pool is beautiful. There is plenty of shade if you are not a sun lover. The property location is great. We walked to Joyner park everyday with our dogs.

We had a great time exploring all the space had to offer, from the pool to the cozy living room and fire rings to the games placed throughout the property. It was a great time for our group to enjoy the space and explore the area!

Wondeful stay!

My family had a wonderful stay here. There were so many fun things to do here, we only left for dinner one night! We would definitely love to stay here again.

The property was beautiful and far enough away from the road that we weren't bothered by car noise. We got a kick out of the Pac-Man machine! Check in and check out were very easy and straightforward.

You really do feel like you’re at a mountain cabin instead of Wake Forest. Great place to stay in the Triangle.

Quick and restful family birthday weekend

This little mountain cabin retreat was the perfect respite for a family coming from all over the country! It had everything! They thought of everything that you could possibly need or want in a restful and enjoyable family getaway! We can’t wait to come back!

Convenient and clean

Very nice place, close to everything. Easy trip to grocery store, downtown is only a few minutes away and plenty to do. House is clean, hosts are very nice and easy to deal with. Had a great time, would definitely visit again.

Another Wonderful Stay

Once again our weekend stay at this beautiful, private cabin home was delightful! Everything was clean and fresh upon arrival and the pool was relaxing . The amenities and furnishings make it a relaxing and easy stay. Edgar is a friendly and accommodating host. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
