Property host has excellent response time on questions and helpful with accommodations. The condo felt like home it was very neat, clean, & cozy inside. Love the fireplace, the outside balcony, outdoor scenery from the windows, hot tub and the big murphy bed!!! Bedding was clean and comfortable and stocked with pillows! I'd highly recommend this place! The condo below was a bit loud our second night and we could hear everything from conversations, music & hot tub jets (thin walls). The gravel area around the resort and to the condo buildings are very poor. Lots and lots of pot holes. The condos back sliding door shades were in poor condition-- some shade blinds were missing.

Overall we loved it. The view was amazing and it was definitely private. Directions to get there a little unclear because of cell coverage, which I realize is out of your control. The signage could have been more clear and we could not get in the key box, luckily the cleaning staff was still there to let us in.

Labor Day Retreat
Absolutely wonderful! The condo was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again! It met all our needs. Even with 90 degree weather, it was breezy and comfortable.

Good ski-in/ski-out location
The ski resort in general is going through a change of ownership and there were some obvious growing pains. I think it’ll all settle in and be better than years past, but it may take a year or two to get there. Sounds like new lifts & new pool area are being planned. As of now, the condo’s lost their direct access to the pool and hot tub area which is a disappointment, but I think they’ll sort it out and the pool area is being remodeled which frankly is needed. The onsite restaurant changed and the bar that used to be open most days is now weekend only, but the interior restaurant which was barley open is now always open. I prefer the bar, but whatever. Prices went up across the board-food, drinks, lift tickets. It’s not widely expensive but is no longer “cheap”. The skiing is great (not a “top tier mountain”, but for the Midwest, it’s on par with Lutsen and Spirit). The snowmobile access is still good but the trail through the resorts was cut. You can still access the trail head and get to the lake and towns and other trails. The snow is phenomenal—lots and lots of fluffy snow. Every time I’ve even been there, they have great snow and they did a really good job plowing the 2 feet plus of snow we got in a few short days. The condo is well-appointed with all the things you’d want from dishes to towels to bedding and comfortable furniture. I think it’s the best accommodations in the area and you can ski right out from the condo. The road coming in is rough! Watch out for pot holes, especially as you come off the highway, but you’ll make it. All-in-all, we’ll stay there again.

Highly recommend
The location was perfect. Loved being able to ski right out from the condo area. The condo was clean and very welcoming. The owner was great, and responsive. We extended our stay a day and he was super helpful in doing that. The hot tub was great, the beds are comfortable. The Netflix and board games were a plus too. Will be staying again in the future.

Cozy and adorable

Ski/Snowboard Anniversary trip
We loved this location for our 8 day trip! It has a very romantic and cozy setting inside the condo and outdoors. Myron was the ultimate host and very responsive to all of our questions. He checked In several times throughout our stay to make suggestions and share tips and tricks. The condo had everything we needed plus more!! Easy ski in/out location between 2 lifts. We will definitely be back again to enjoy this gem on the Hill.

Great ski-side condo

An exceptional experience; there is nothing more that we could have wanted.
We were looking for a place to get away from the city heat, rest and relax, and enjoy the outdoors. We could not have found a better location. The condo was well-appointed. We stayed for 9 days, and everything we ever needed was at our fingertips. The only thing we needed to bring was food. The sofa is more comfortable than my furniture at home. (Now I have to go shopping!) We had a few meals at the Sky Bar and the food is great. Enjoy the prime rib special on Saturday night with live music. We visited the Porcupine Mountains, Lake Superior, and took short hikes to several waterfalls. (Be ready for lots of stairs if you're visiting waterfalls, but there are a few wheelchair-accessible sites as well.) Myron is a terrific host. We appreciated his suggestions for activities and restaurants. He responded to our messages within minutes. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Peaceful Place
We enjoyed the peace and quite. So many small towns and things to do within a short distance. Had a Colorado feel to the area with all the mountains. Happened to be very warm but cool evenings allowed us to open the windows and it was just perfect. The condo had everything we needed and then some. lots of game nights on the deck, walks and drinks at the lodge. The staff there were so friendly and even had musical entertainment on Saturday.

Just what we needed
We were spending one night around the Porkies and this was perfect for us! We had a great time exploring the area, hiking, checking out all kinds of waterfalls, etc. Myron was super easy to work with, very responsive and had awesome suggestions for things to see and do, as well as places to eat. His place was clean and cute. It was just right for our family of 4 and could see how fun it would also be in the winter with a group!

Great getaway!

Wonderful
We were pleasantly surprised with the condos location it was exactly where we wanted to be!! the condo was set up and decorated nicely, the sleeping arrangements the beds were comfortable everything was clean. there was everything available to prep food, cook and enjoy eating with movies to watch games for the kids to play. I would definitely stay here again we come up several times a year for ATV Riding and we have a lot of family in the area the owner was easy to communicate with I asked a question he answered it immediately!

Quiet Weekend Retreat
The only disappointment was that the on-site restaurant was closed for remodeling until Memorial weekend. It did, however, force us to explore nearby towns of Ironwood and Hurley for food destinations.😀

When we arrived, we reached out to the owner since we could clearly see that the fireplace was not operational and felt that it was a safety concern (as it was gas) and got a response back from Myron that he 'thought' it had been fixed and he would reach out to the repairman and get back to me. He didn't do either of those things. We did our planned activities and looked forward to enjoying the hot tub on our return to find that there were NO guest amenities like soap or shampoo and then the worst thing of all was that there were only 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths and ONE HAND TOWEL for two bathrooms and the hot tub. Completely unacceptable for the location and pricing of this overnight. My friends didn't even get to shower and none of us enjoyed the hot tub because we knew we wouldn't have any towels to dry off with. While the location was very homey, at least I have enough towels at my house so each person can have at least ONE OF THEIR OWN TOWELS!! Will not re-visit...and do not recommend.

While the location and the place itself are perfect- what really stands out is how awesome Myron is as a manager- he is super helpful and proactive in making sure his guests have an enjoyable stay. I’ve used VRBO a lot, and this was also the first time that the accommodations exceeded what I was expecting. I cannot say enough great things about this property!

Easy Ski in/out condo
It was perfect for a family of four. Easy access to the ski Indianhead (outside the door). Snowmobile trails right there as well. The pool had weird rules about beer-"No outside beer per State Law". You are suppose to buy beer form their bar, I've never heard of that before and highly doubt it is a state law. They "enforced it", but everyone bought one beer and refilled theirs in the bathroom. They must know that happens, it's just odd.

Great Ski Getaway
Spent a few days skiing at Big Snow. This place is ski in and out..great location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all we needed and a nice place to relax after a day on the slopes. Myron was awesome to deal with while making the reservation and while we were there. Would definitely rent this place again.

What a great surprise
Myron’s condo was a great surprise. Located on the top of one of Michigan’s premier ski resorts the condo was beautifully decorated, easy to access, clean, modern, and delightful. The views alone were worth the price! There are not a lot of great choices in the Western Upper Peninsula, so staying overnight here is the best choice to be made.....you won’t be sorry. !

This property exceeded our expectations. My boyfriend and I were on a backpacking trip and decided to break up the camp days by staying here. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The fireplace was a nice touch after spending the night before in a cold tent! The fall views from the ski lodge were beautiful and the colors weren’t even in peak yet. We did have to call for directions, but the owner was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay here.

Great little place :)
We stayed here on our last day of our tour of the UP. We have 3 boys ages 7-12 and they loved the place from the moment we walked in. It was so nice to have some space to spread out. We went to the grocery store in town and got some frozen pizzas to cook for dinner and also made their favorite breakfast in the morning. The place is so close to the chair lifts. I can see how appealing it would be for skiing purposes. There were some games to play and plenty of movies to watch. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. Myron was very receptive to communication and made some great recommendations for local activities. Mom perspective: if you have little kids, I’d use the Murphy bed for them to sleep on rather than the beds in the loft for safety reasons, just in case they wake up in the middle of the night and have to try to make their way down the spiral staircase. My boys did just fine in the loft though. The boys wanted to stay longer, but mom and dad were ready to head home. ;) All in all, highly recommend this place!

Little piece of heaven
The property manager was more than helpful and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our family had the best experience. Our kid loved the movie collection and the games. The hot tub was the highlight of our night once we settled in from our day trips and was the perfect way to relax. The location was quiet and secluded and only 30 min from the porcupine mountains. We will definitely be coming back!

Had dinner and breakfast at the skybar onsite. Service was great and food was excellent. Great view. Really no complaints at all we enjoyed the rooms and appreciated the unique decor.

Had a brilliant week!
Lots of squeals of excitement from the kids as we looked around on arrival :-) Comfortable couches, super comfy beds (but watch your toes on the foot boards!). Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, blankets, hooks, closets, etc. We took advantage of all the stocked movies and games, too. More than enough space for three adults and three kids and all the ski gear. The closet in the outer hallway was super useful for overflow. Overall, the skiers and non-skiers alike all had a brilliant week at this property!

Wonderful fall trip
We had a wonderful fall trip hiking and enjoying the scenic drives in the area. The condo location was very central for us. The size of the condo was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the loft area. It was incredibly clean and we loved the privacy it offered. Myron was a great communicator and very helpful.

Black River Harbor and Copper Peak
Everything we anticipated and more. Beautiful location at Indianhead Lodge. Well equipped. The best bed ever. Perfect for families and friends. Loved the Sky Bar in the summer. Reminded us of the pubs in England. Really enjoyed our stay here.
