“I had an incredible time staying at Tranquility Base. The apartment was meticulously clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. It wasn’t sure what to expect from the photos however, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how close the house was to the water. It was absolutely beautiful. My dog, and I especially enjoyed our daily walks around the 1 mile loop on the private road through a beautiful pine forest, with glimpses of the St. George River peeking through the trees. “My wife and i really enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we have stayed in this location and would definitely recommend this place. Its close to downtown. You can park your car when you show up and never need it till you leave. Clean and very comfortable. We were out all day and relaxed in front of the TV watching the games during the evening. “Shipbuilder’s Retreat is a lovely property with plenty of space to spread out. The space was sparkling clean, well designed, and very comfortable. The property is a duplex (separated by two single car garages adding sound insulation and privacy) nestled in the woods but with very nice landscaping. It is close to shopping, downtown Boothbay, and access to local sites making it very convenient while still being tucked away.
