  • This sunny warm family Bach is perfectly situated a short 3-minute stroll from the heart of Wanaka township and 5 minutes to the lakefront. With three spacious bedrooms, open-plan living and a small sunny yard positioned by a stream, this Bach won’t disappoint. So while you’re in the heart of Wanaka, you’re far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax in holiday bliss.

    This wonderfully presented Bach offers plenty of space for the whole family from a couples retreat to a family escape for up to 6 persons. There are three spacious bedrooms, all with queen beds, as well as a bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Enjoy the fully equipped spacious modern kitchen, along with the lounge & dining areas that offer open plan living which lead out onto the backyard area for you to enjoy the gardens & lawn. There is a BBQ for you to enjoy along with outdoor table and chairs for you to make the most of this pleasant, relaxing space. We recommend you enjoy this area with a Central Otago Pinot Noir, while you listen to the soft sounds of the neighbours babbling brook, which is fully fenced off. There is WIFI available and a TV where you can access service apps such as Netflix, where you`ll need to bring your own account details to access.

    All linen and towels are provided, plus there is a laundry with a washing machine. There`s a beautiful wood-burner (not stove) in the entry area that heats the open plan living/kitchen/dining area, along with 2 heat pumps. One in the lounge and one in the master bedroom. All are a welcome addition for a cozy ski holiday or winter stay. All in all, this really is the perfect accommodation option for your next visit to beautiful Wanaka.

    PLEASE NOTE: Airbnb does not consider infants to be guests (when counting numbers) and will allow you to book this property if any infants accompanying you take your guest numbers to higher than 6 guests. Unfortunately, our council regulations prohibit us from exceeding this number, including infants. Please communicate with us if you would like to bring infants so we can look at guests numbers. If you do book for more than 6 guests, infants included, we will unfortunately need to cancel your booking and you will need to incur any fees we get charged. Please also note that there is no infant bedding provided with this property - you will need to bring your own port-a-cot and linen if you are bringing an infant or your welcome to communicate with us and we can guide you on where to hire these items. Also this property has a wood burner so care is required when operating it, especially with young children present.

    You will have access to the entire property during your stay.

    The home is situated a very short distance from Wanaka Township and beautiful lake Wanaka. The well-established neighborhood is safe and quiet. As close as this Bach is to the township of Wanaka, you are away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday workings of the township. The Bach is situated down a shared driveway and is at the back of the property. You do have neighbours who are fenced off and private from you.

    From Wanaka township drive up the main street of Helwick Street, cross over Brownston Street and turn right into Warren Str. 44b Warren street is at the back of the home in front

    Please note that we do have a minimum age requirement of 25 years. The primary guest making the booking must meet this minimum age, though accompanying guests may be younger.

    Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest communication portal DUVE. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your license/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, and you are welcome to block out some numbers, but please note that Duve has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
    By booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in our Rental Policy and agree to follow our HOUSE RULES:
    - No pets
    - No smoking anywhere inside the property
    - Report any breakages or damage
    - Check-out by your agreed time
    - No extra guests allowed over 6 guests
    - No caravans, campers, tents on property
    - Respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum after 11pm
    - Follow our STRICT NO PARTY POLICY.

Breaking these rules may result in charges being incurred as detailed in our terms and conditions. If you respect the property as you would your own home, you can relax and enjoy your stay.

Nice time away

We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others. One thing would be good to have a look at the heat pump in the lounge which is quite noisy. Very convenient and close to town.

Relaxing family getaway

Excellent location just a few minutes walk into Wanaka centre. Spacious bedrooms and plenty of safe outdoor space for our children to roam about in. Everything was clean and we had everything that we needed in the kitchen . Thanks for a great week

It was a warm bright home, very well equipped, very clean and close to amenities. All day soon, place to enjoy on the property even in late Autumn was wonderful. Comfortable beds, good shower!!In summary a homely restful for friends eho emjoy a yearly break for walking, stitch and reading!!
