Nigel and his staff are very friendly and helpful, We stayed here as it was convenient while visiting our daughter and grandchildren. While the room was basic enough, it was very comfortable and we slept so well. We had continental breakfast included in the price of the room. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a warm welcome with a room that was clean and comfortable, just right for a night or two. Breakfast was a simple, easy selection with very friendly staff to assist. Very easy check in and out. We would happily stay there again.

Does what it says on the tin. A no frills property but equally very comfortable, clean and helpful friendly staff. Despite the room being above a pub I was not disturbed by noise as I went to bed each night. Breakfast very good with a good selection.

This was the perfect place for me to stay while visiting family near by, Nigel and everyone at the Rifle were welcoming and helpful. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable “room at the inn” this comes highly recommended.
