It would be great if you had a TV in the spare bedroom and if all TVs could get the Internet like YouTube, etc. My daughter brought up the fact that the walls look kind of plane so maybe some cheap artwork would be good. Overall, we are very happy with the place and especially the size of the apartment, thx!

The building and unit were clean and quiet. Overall a great space, with a nice view of the city. The living room furniture was not very comfortable. The small love seat was missing all the padding/cushion on the resting arm. The internet/tv was challenging at times and had a very slow interface. The host was quick to respond to messages regarding concerns. The pool was not heated and very chilly for my family. It is designed as more of a gym pool for laps, rather than a place to lounge or hang out. Nice option to have, but different than expected.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be happy to run the dishwasher before we leave. The rest is up to your cleaners, after all, we are vacationers and we paid a cleaning fee.There were some issues. It may seem like many but they are minor things that if corrected would make a major difference.The tv problem has a spotty internet connection. Perhaps the router or the Roku. Our phones and iPads always worked, the tv did not.Seating is not as pictured on the website. The apt is beautiful in and of itself! The beds are super comfortable to sleep after a day of touring DC. Location was perfect for walking to many restaurants and DC sites. Penn Quarters is a beautiful, well kept building. Immaculately clean and easy to access with a safe, secure feeling. We would definitely recommend Penn Quarters to friends and family visiting DC.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location was PRIME, with fantastic views. The host company was communicative. Beds, couch, & arm chair were comfortable. Everything in the unit worked well & was exactly as expected. It was the perfect place for us!We are giving our stay 5 stars, despite some things that could be improved, because the positives far outweigh the issues, some of which are not in the host company’s control. The parking and elevator situation is VERY confusing. The binder says to talk to the front desk about parking, but when we checked in the very kind gentleman working there did not speak much English. Since the parking passes are coordinated by the host management company, even though they are paid for separately, & it connects to which elevator you take/where you end up in the building, I think the host management company should have a write up for each unit, explaining where to park in the garage (reserved for residents? Visitors/commercial?) & which elevator to take to get closest to the unit you’re staying in. Dealing with all of that was stressful, confusing, & frustrating; it made our stay go less smoothly. This would be an easy thing for the management co to address and add to the email sent out to people who book. We were VERY excited to use the 24 hour jacuzzi, sauna, & steam room. None of which were working. It was 8pm on Friday & there was really no one to ask for help. That was a major bummer! The pool looked really nice tho!

Great location! Walked to everything and Metro station very close. The apartment was as described, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. I would suggest new living room furniture as it was fairly uncomfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed utensils, etc and we had a good amount of starter stock for toilet paper, etc. Parking is extra but at only 16/day it was super reasonable. We will be back!!

The location was amazing and very close to many restaurants located walking distance to the building. It is very close to many DC tourist spots. The unit was nice, clean and comfortable. The fact that you could park in a nice secure underground parking garage with an elevator to the condos was a huge convenience. Notes to owner/mgmt to help improve for future guests: the building layout can be confusing so you may want to add some more building info and how to navigate the building, elevators and parking.

Great location, clean

Our only issue with the property was the lack of amenities. No coffee, no kitchen towels, pot holders, missing some basic cooking utensils. If we had planned to cook it would have been very difficult. The location was incredible, near lots of incredible restaurants and close to everything. Very close to the metro.

Spring Break Family Trip

We popped up to DC for a few days for my daughter’s spring break and wanted a place close to the mall. Everything was as advertised, clean, and ready to use. There was one minor issue with the oven that the property manager had fixed incredibly fast. We would definitely stay here again and will look too next time we are in town.

Great spot in the heart of it all

Location was perfect. Apartment was simply decorated but clean and functional. Swimming pool was a hit with the kids. This rental worked great as a base of operations for a five day visit to the museums and monuments in DC. Tons of great restaurant options within walking distance.

Amazing location

This location can’t be beat - we stayed a week over Spring Break with our fourth and fifth grader. It was so close to everything! There were so many high and low range dining options. Museums were all walkable distance. The area was so clean and safe. We even caught a Wizard’s game just because it was a block away! The unit is on the corner and had fun views out the 8th story window. With kids, having a pool to use was also a pretty big plus. The unit was sparse on cooking utensils which was fine as we only had breakfast at the house before heading out. We made a pit stop at Walgreens and purchased a few essential tools and left them behind.

Perfect for seeing it all

Great location to walk to the mall, museums and other sites. Super easy to catch the metro. Kids loved the pool and it was nice to get a workout in while traveling. We will stay here again!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and in an excellent location. Close to many attractions, transport and fabulous restaurants. The view was spectacular! Will definitely stay here again. Only suggestion- provide new coffee cups( there were only 3, 2 of which were chipped and the other a small plastic cup
