My sister and I stayed here for a few nights with our 2 dogs while we explored DC and took day trips to Rehoboth Beach DE and Shenandoah NP. It was an amazing stay and we would absolutely stay here again. The space was tidy, organized, and cozy. There were plenty of thoughtful touches, like water and snacks for us and a welcome sign. The kitchenette was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook the food we brought with us. The shower pressure was great and there were plenty of towels stocked. The backyard was spacious and was so convenient for letting the dogs out in the mornings and evenings. Check in and out was super easy as well. If you're thinking of staying near DC in a centralized spot-- this would be a great fit!

Perfect little spot for our weekend in D.C. the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was just as advertised with attention to detail including a travel guide written by the hosts about the area. Our dog also enjoyed the fenced in yard. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

This was a great space! I was having work done on my home and needed a place to stay that was close. This was perfect. The hosts were VERY communicative and kind enough to allow me to stay a little longer than planned. I highly recommend! I'm having work done next year and I'll be back! :)

The apartment was so cozy and quaint. We loved our time even though it was short. Terry and Mark were great and even cared enough to let us know what was going on with our little pup while we were out. Super understanding and accommodating. A definite revisit if ever in the area again.

I loved my stay! The hosts made it very easy to check in/out, they were great at communicating with me and the room was a perfect fit. There wasn't as much going on in the neighborhood itself, but I was moreso on the trip to explore the monuments and museums in DC and the metro stop was a quick easy walk from the residence which I loved! Would highly recommend staying here

Great little place! Terry and Mark were great hosts. Perfect for my daughter and I for 4 nights. Only a few minutes away from the metro rail, which is great. My only complaint was that fact that the neighborhood wasn’t very safe after dark. Multiple locals warned us to get an uber to take us straight to the house after the sun started to set.

Very nice place that is filled with charm. Owner was super quick with communications as I had issues when I first arrived. Bed is super comfy too. Getting a Lyft or Uber was not a problem neither.

My overall stay at this property was good. I was pleasantly surprising by the amenities that where available. Terry and Mark had a great booklet with activity ideas based on you length of stay. I received really quick responses anytime messaged. My only and biggest concern during my concern during was our stay was the insects we encountered. I stay here every month for work and it is so nice to come back after a long day to somewhere that is starting today feel like a home away from home. My dogs are happy because they get to be with me, I have everything I could possibly need, and Terry and Mark are just such lovely people. I am so happy I hit the VRBO jackpot.

Adorable stay

We really enjoyed the ability to take our senior dog out with ease and we used many of the amenities available to us. Everywhere we visited that week was easily accessible. i enjoyed being close to downtown but liked the feeling of being in a quiet neighborhood. You can hear owners upstairs but it did not both us. Communication was great with the owners.

Work trip

It was a great stay. I travel for work and have long days so it was almost like coming home each day, even to my dogs! I was so comfortable the whole time. Terry was so friendly and hospitable and even left treats for the dogs. Many places say “dog friendly” but they truly mean it. I didn’t feel the need to worry at all about them while I was out working during the day. He even suggested a pet store and restaurants. I’ve already re-booked for future work trips. Overall a wonderful “homey” experience. There was also everything I could have needed if I wanted to make easy meals. Hands down 5/5. See you next month!
