Beautiful neighborhood and location. We've stayed in DC before, but this is our first VRBO stay, and a first in this part of town. Easy to walk and get around. Cindy provides plentiful kithcen and bathroom supplies. Beds were comfy and communication good.Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Cindy was a lovely hostess that met us upon arrival to show us around and give us tips for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! Street parking was available right in front of the house when we arrived, so we were able to leave our car parked there for the duration of the stay. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood and to the two closest Metro stations (Potomac Ave and Eastern Market, both a 10-15 minute walk).

Beautiful downtown DC spot with a French wine and coffee shop around the corner on a large park. Extremely quiet street and almost no noise from upstairs. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen, did laundry, and the rooms were comfortable and could sleep 5. Grocery store was just a few blocks away as well as a metro station and restaurants. Easy 30 min walk/metro ride or 15 min Uber in/out of the DC Mall. What a great stay!

We were a reunion party of 3 childhood friends. We really appreciated the extra twin bed in the 2nd bedroom so no one had to double up. We also liked that it is a property occupied by owner a few months of the year, so the kitchen is extraordinarily well-stocked. It's a beautiful, comfortable and very new apartment. The host was wonderful explaining every detail of the apartment. We will stay here again next year with pleasure!

From the time of booking, this was a 5star booking. Cindy is an amazing host and the unit had everything you could possibly want. Location was awesome for getting to anything we wanted. Would love to stay here again on my next trip to D.C.

very modern kitchen with everything we needed. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with shopping, groceries and restaurants near by. The Metro is only a few blocks away, which is very convenient for getting around DC. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio table in front of the townhouse. There is no assigned parking but you do have a parking permit for the street parking. Our girls group really enjoyed this apartment. very clean and comfortable.

This place is amazing..

Honestly this is one of the best places we have ever stayed, excellent location, great communication, amazing apartment with really comfy beds and a welcome gift back that after being rerouted to Virginia on our flight making us hours late, was so welcomed. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Great DC location!

The unit was very clean and well stocked. Cindy was a very accommodating and responsive host. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our DC stay. It was an easy walk to the metro and several sights and restaurants. We also felt very safe with our children in the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

Feeling Right at Home!

We loved our stay and felt right at home with all the touches that went above and beyond our expectations. The walk through the Metro through the neighborhood was something we enjoyed every day. Our communication with the property manager could not have been any better. We would recommend this to any family wanting to really feel like a part of the city during their stay!

DC Girls Trip

This apartment is perfectly located to explore the city. City highlights all walkable from here. Metro Station Eastern Market, 12 min walk. From there a direct connection to Dulles Airport. Supermarket 10 min walk. The apartment is even bigger as it looks on the photos. The kitchen very well equipped, good beds and cosy towels. Cindy is an amazing host; always answered within 30 minutes and very flexible. The absolute perfect location for our city trip!

Comfortable and cozy

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment in Capitol Hill. There were 3 adults and we were very comfortable with plenty of room to relax. Beds and bathroom very clean and kitchen was so cute with everything we needed. Cindy, our host, was very helpful. We would stay here again!

Family Trip to DC Area

Enjoyed our stay. Cindy was most welcoming and attentive during our trip. The basement unit was very quiet; no noise from upstairs unit nor from the street. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and seeing all of the families and other neighbors out and about.

Overall Excellent

My wife and I along with our daughter and her husband stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. Our daughter ran the Marine Corps Marathon but we also did a lot of sightseeing. We have visited DC many times and always look forward to our next visit. Our stay at Cindy’s place was our best experience over all the others.

Worked great for a tourist

The place was great for our family as tourists. It was nice to see the bathroom well equipped with towels. Kitchen and living room were great. Easy access to the subway and a Safeway grocery store is very close. It’s below level and a dog barking in the middle of night we’re just items to note but doesn’t take away from the great rental.

Better than we expected!

This was the perfect rental home for our quick trip to D.C.! It was well equipped with anything we could have needed, was very clean, and the neighborhood was safe and welcoming. We walked to Trader Joe’s to grab groceries and cooked dinner each night. The oils and spices on hand were a great bonus! The apartment felt much larger than expected and gave us and our three kids the space to spread out and relax. Cindy made the check in process very easy and made herself available for any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!
