The host was easy to communicate with. The neighborhood was amazing. The bed was comfy. I wish the floors were cleaner; rugs were dirty as was the bathroom floor. Our space was quite warm at 74 with no ability to adjust, kept opening the window. Also the tv/wifi didnt seem to work. Unable to load anything to watch.

Excellent location complemented by ample parking spaces. Sufficient space for a brief sojourn, along with numerous insightful recommendations for local dining establishments. Additionally, a charming terrace is available for enjoying a drink while observing the playful squirrels. Exceptional value. The owner is responsive, and accessing the apartment is seamless. We enjoyed everything about our stay in this quaint and convenient home: the uniqueness of a century-old space, walking to Union Station, the supermarket, coffee shop and local pub, and definitely the kind attention of owners Eric & Jason. Even my husband slept well! We would definitely stay there again!

This is a small, clean and cute apartment in the Capital Hill neighborhood in the heart of DC. It's a great place to call home base for a few days while you check out the sights. We had no idea where to stay and were up in the air between here and the Pendry hotel which is at the wharf. We couldn't have been happier that we chose this location. We felt extremely safe and getting around the city from this location was so easy. Uber pickups were quick, there are Lime scooters and bikes everywhere and you could easily walk pretty much anywhere from the apartment. It's about a 10 minute walk to the capital, and the Eastern Market is about the same. You could definitely walk to any of the other sights like the White House, Washington Monument or Smithsonian, but we chose to just hop on a scooter. It was a 12 minute Uber to the Wharf. The apartment itself is a small kitchen with a table and clean bathroom with great mirrors and a comfy bedroom area. There is also a little back patio that you have access to. This place allowed us to get a feel for what it would be like to live in a historic row house and the entire neighborhood was safe and quiet. No worries at all coming back at night. This place was half the price of the Pendry and for a couple if was perfect.

Long Weekend in DC

We had a great stay here over the weekend. It's a wonderful location and very walkable. We used Lime scooters and Uber to get around town if needed. Would have loved to utilize the backyard but it rained but it's very cute and worth having a drink out there. My only negative was bathtub had no where to place shampoo and such, but that's really not that negative!

Perfect from start to finish. Arrived on a Friday, and was able to get a parking spot a few houses down! (included in price!) This is the cutest, well kept neighborhood. Right by a park and many food places close by. We also loved that we could use Lime scooters and park them right outside! This place is so cute. It was simple to get in using codes supplied. Good Wi-Fi. Kitchen had everything we needed. And the backyard was perfect. Quiet street and felt very safe. Bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was a good size and loved the claw foot shower/tub. When we visit again, we will be sure to stay here! Thank You

A True Washington DC Experience — Location and Vibe Were Spot On!

Great location! Easy walks to major points of interest. Less than a mile to a gym. Coffee shops within 5 min walk in any direction. Grocery stores also within 10 min walk. Parked the car and never moved it once in 5 days stay. Apartment was exactly what we wanted. Fits right into the vibe of what Washington DC is. Awesome to stay in a place with so much history.

Well located, very clean and felt safe, which are the primary features.The space however is awkward, king size bed is wall to wall, very limited counter or table space. Bathroom little counter space,shower difficult to navigate

Close to Museums

Was within walking distance of almost everything we needed. We were here to see the museums and was only a few blocks from the National Mall which was perfect.Bike share is right there too! Everything was clean and perfect for two people.

Pretty Capital Hill Stay

Pretty and quiet residential neighborhood. A small walk to limited restaurants in the neighborhood. Metro is walkable to the house as well but not close. Apartment was good enough for two people to stay for a 3 day weekend.

Spring trip to DC

Historic DC row house, studio style. Just right for a couple exploring the city. Perfectly located in Capitol Hill, close to Union Station and Eastern Market metros. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. We had a great time!

The location and parking pass definitely aren't given the attention they deserve! The apartment is walking distance to so many of the DC attractions. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, beautiful, and there were always parking spaces available. The apartment is adorable, and spotless. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is somehow modern and quaint at the same time. Like someone mentioned, you can hear the upstairs neighbors pretty clearly. I will absolutely stay again.

Wonderful location!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm.

A great stay!

We had an enjoyable stay in DC visiting family and seeing the sights. Eric was readily available and so pleasant and helpful in every regard. We were out and about most of the time but this quaint studio offered just what we needed when we returned weary from a long day: small kitchenette, hot shower and a big comfy bed to return to.
