Renee was the best host! Communication was great! The record collection was amazing for our family of musicians, the house was a walk to old town and the hot tub was great! The kitchen was reviewed needed. Renee thought of all we needed! We will come again!

Enjoyed the location - easy access to a great walking trail alongside the Potomac; walkable to King St and shopping & restaurants, and parking was easy. House is comfortable and worked well for our family's visit to all be together.

Our hostess was lovely and friendly! The house was perfect. Our group of four running friends stayed for the weekend of the Marine Corps Marathon. This house was the perfect rental for us. We each had our own rooms to spread out in and get good sleep in comfy beds. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking our own food. And the hot tub was our favorite post-race treat. We all greatly enjoyed that. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to groceries and take-out. Walking to the Metro is doable or a quick Uber ride. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

Amazing Home. Charming and Rustic. Very well decorated to reflect the Elegant Old Town Alexandria Style. Extremely close to King Street and all our planned activities. Loved the Hot Tub and all included amenities. Communicatiom with Host was very effective. Had a great time.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this rental was. From communication to cleanliness it was perfection! I went with all adults however, as Mom of 2, I noticed a lot of things there that would make it a great location for a family to stay at as well. It was beautiful, clean, and in such a great location. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Stay

We had a fantastic stay in Old Town Alexandria! The rental was spotless, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located just a short walk to shops, waterfront restaurants, and historic sites. The host Renée was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in seamless and the entire experience stress-free. It truly felt like a comfortable home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the charm and convenience of Old Town!

Beautiful home as described

Beautiful home, bed were comfy, location was amazing. Highly recommend. We enjoyed having access to speaker to play our music and the record player. Would have liked a water dispenser but that's jus a minor personal preference but nothing uber eats couldn't deliver.

Great home and location in Old Town Alexandria

We had a fantastic stay at The Nostalgic in Old Town Alexandria. The home was just as described and in a great location. It was an easy 15 min walk to King Street, but the walk is just lovely. The home had nice amenities and comforts of home (comfortable bedding, toiletries, toys for kids, k cups, etc.). It’s a great home. Of note- the home is 4 stories so there are many steps to navigate for guests. We will definitely like to return.

A Gem in Old Town

We LOVED our stay at The Nostalgic. It's a home full of character and convenience. The walkability to town was a major plus for us. We loved the access to shopping and great restaurants and Ubers were great to downtown DC. The check-in process was easy and the home was comfortable and clean. The collection of albums was a great perk! Great place to stay! I would highly recommend it!

Perfect DC experience

We wanted our children to get to experience what living in the DC area is like. This was the perfect home for that. Exactly what we were looking for. All the levels, decor, the nostalgia, right down to the vinyls. The record player was a huge hit.

Super property!

Renee is a great property manager and is easy to communicate with. The property itself is superb with many outstanding details- we celebrated Christmas early with my son and his girlfriend from Los Angles and Renee had it all decorated for Christmas. The location could not have been better since we wanted to stay and visit old town Alexandria. Renee gave us recommendations for restaurants that turned out to be superb places! I would highly recommend staying at this property!

A perfect home for a family gathering

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time in this house, 4 kids from 1-13 with us and we had more room than we needed! It is immaculate, clean, and the attention to detail couldn’t be better. It was so clean and organized, but still so warm and inviting. Renee is a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful. She personally took care of an issue we ran into with VRBO when we needed to unexpectedly rearrange the trip. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Charming Townhome

Don't think twice - Just come!

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place and its host, Reneé! I knew nothing of the area and wasn't sure about distance from DC at first but this fun area, and this house in particular, made our stay exceptional. The place is nothing less than gorgeous and has every little detail. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Wish I didn't have to leave! Thank you, thank you, dear Reneé!
