This home could not have been any better! Spent a long weekend with 6 others visiting DC & Alexandria. We used all the bedrooms so can attest to the comfort of the beds. Nice quality linens and plentiful towels. Rooms were large enough for seating and conversation groups. The highlight for this group was gathering in the private courtyard for coffee and breakfast. Home was very clean with nice amenities. Location is prime - just a few minutes (less than 2 blocks) to King Street and dining/shopping. Very easy - 10 minute - walk to Metro station. Safe neighborhood, pretty, and made to feel at home. Do yourself a favor and book this home when visiting DC area.

Beautiful stay in Old Town Alexandria

This home was such a treat! The neighborhood is idyllic, and the home itself was lovely. There are lots of stairs, so if you’re traveling with anyone with mobility issues, it might be challenging. The beds were very comfortable and the common spaces were perfect for family time.

In town for a concert

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. We enjoyed the historic charm and beautifully decorated interior. The house was also comfortable for 7 adults and had a well equipped kitchen. The proximity to restaurants, coffee shops and stores was a great bonus

Old Town Alexandria house

Delightful

Last minute impromptu sightseeing trip to DC with my two college-age sons. Gorgeous, historical home that matched the theme of the trip. Close to DC and enjoyed walking old town Alexandria in the evenings. We had a wonderful time.Would definitely book again.

Fun times in Alexandria!

My husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and their two children (2 1/2 and 5 1/2) spent a wonderful week in this lovely home. Location was perfect, just a short walk to King Street and all the fabulous shops and restaurants there. Took the train into DC as needed, an easy commute. The home was spacious, with 4 generous sized bedrooms (we only needed 3!). Kitchen was well equipped and we never ran out of clean towels, etc. Our hosts were very responsive to all questions and helped us navigate parking. Highly recommend this listing!

Old Town at it's best

Great location. Home is historic so you won't be sneaking out the front door without some creaking floors (important to note if you will be traveling with kids). We found Parking fairly easily within 2 blocks of the house. We had 4 of us for a ladies weekend and loved every minute of it... Highly recommend this property.

Arlington funeral

Our family used this beautiful historic home as a home base during for our family member’s Arlington funeral. It is so convenient to everything in Alexandria and super easy to access Reagan airport for family. Thank you for a perfect spot.

Great Place

We had a fantastic experience at this VRBO rental! Having enough space and amenities for 7 adults was definitely a win, and the convenient location within walking distance to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were responsive and communicated well—it really made a difference in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.

An amazing experience!

We had an amazing time staying in this home! It was very clean and nicely decorated. We were on a family trip, and it was special to stay in a place with so much history. Another thing we really enjoyed is being able to use the wood burning fireplaces! We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic!

Extremely charming home, oozing with history. Great restoration - left all the old charm while adding tasteful, modern conveniences. We loved it! We were in town for a funeral at Arlington and property suited our family size and location needs perfectly. Easy check in and check out. Great location within easy walking distance to parking, shops, restaurants. If in town again, will definitely rebook.
