It was a great stay. The property is just as described, very comfortable and kid friendly with little touches like stools in the bathroom and kids plates and cups. The property is in a great location for walks to King Street and to drive over to National Harbor.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the house. It was nicely updated, very clean, and well supplied. We used the on street parking pass with no problems finding a spot. We also walked to the King Street Metro to go to Washington, and used the King Street Trolley in Old Town. The host also did a great job communicating everything we needed to know, and we had no problems. I recommend staying in Old Town in this lovely house!

I was very pleased to find this property in Alexandria. I was attending a conference near by and this place was perfect. The property is immaculate and beds are comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent as well. Looking forward to staying again in future.

8 days in Alexandria

My family and I stayed at this property for eight days as part of my wife's 50th birthday celebration in the D.C. area. The property is very comfortable and close to King Street, where there is plenty for everyone to do. My kids went to the "Call Your Momma" bagel shop every morning, which is two blocks away. Communications with the property owner was clear and fast -- really appreciated that. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was as advertised. Very close to King Street and lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Whole Foods is an easy walk or quick car ride. We had an excellent visit and would stay here again. Super close to Washington DC attractions and airport.

DC Family Vacation

The property was perfect for our family. We were allowed to check in early and communication responses from the owner was always quick. Great location, within walking distance to groceries (Whole Foods), CVS, King St Metro, Old Town history, and restaurants. We walked everywhere as a family and felt safe day/night. Residence had everything to cook meals, entertainment with boardgames, TV, and bathroom amenities were great! When we come back to DC for another trip (you honestly can see everything in one trip), we will be staying here again. Stop searching and book this property, you won't regret it.

Great Stay in Old Town!

We could not have been happier to have chosen this house for our trip to the DC area. The cleanliness and quality of the house and all the appliances, furniture, beds etc was beyond expectations. Location was really nice and proximity to King street and all old town has to offer made this house a place we will be coming back to.

Great location

We stayed in Alexandria during a family Spring Break trip. The property was exactly as advertised and the communication from the host was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring Alexandria and DC - short walk to Metro, King St., Whole Foods. Plenty on on-street parking if you have a car.

Great house, great location, great host

We are a family of four that stayed for a week. The house was very nice and just as advertised. The location is wonderful. Two blocks off Kings Street and an easy walk to restaurants. Easy access to the King Street Metro. Host was wonderful as well. Great communication and very responsive. Overall, wonderful trip.

The Perfect Getaway

From start to finish this was just about as superb an experience as one could wish for. Finding this gem of a spot on VrBO and reaching out, found rapid and complete response from the hosts. Checking in was a breeze, all the pre-check in information was spot on (including some great tips about things nearby). The home is appointed beautifully, incredibly comfortable and the lushness of the towels alone was delightful. Definitely bookmarking this spot and plan to visit again!

Nice stay

Lovely home, very clean, comfortable beds and plenty of linens, pillows, towels, etc.Location was well situated with walking access to the train and also to King Street / Old Town (it was a bit of a longer walk to the end of Kind St near the water front, farmers market area, but this was worth it for us to be closer to the train station).Parking is on the street and was limited during our stay but we were able to find close spots if not right out front. We had a mishap with the provided parking pass but the hosts were very responsive and made every effort to rectify the situation.

Perfection

We were extremely pleased as we arrived at the VRBO, the townhome was exactly and it was presented. The beds were super comfortable, the showers were wonderful and the kitchen was well appointed made our stay absolutely wonderful. We had a problem with the secondary shower. They came out immediately responded but guess what? It was my fault I wasn’t doing the knob correctly nonetheless, they came out quickly for something that was our fault. First class operation. They really do a nice job. I’m looking forward to coming back and staying again, I would recommend this to anybody especially my family as I grew up in Northern Virginia for 42 years this is going to be my new spot instead of going to a hotel.

Beautiful Alexandria and Payne Street

We had a wonderful five days in the single home in Alexandria. My husband and I were joined by his sister for a lovely family get together. The location was perfect, easily reachable shops and restaurants, plus the free King St trolley goes all the way to the waterfront. Comfortable, quiet, spacious, well equipped and convenient. What more is there? I highly recommend.
