“I always rely on reviews to choose my stays, so I always want to be helpful to others. This property was very nice and secluded. It has two lower units and one upper unit. Two of the units (Lodge and Meadow) have a view of the water and very nice decks. The property has a nice hot tub and fire pit. Unfortunately, we were in the Forest unit. While it was lovely, we had no views or windows except for the fenced in tiny deck. The room was lovely, but dark and claustrophobic. If you want a romantic...

“We stayed for two nights and had a quiet relaxing enjoyable time. The only downside which nobody can control was Mother nature. It rained almost the entire time we were there so getting to the beach was kind of it wet and Soggy event. But they're quietness and coziness of our cottage/cabin was just what the doctor ordered. The owners were very friendly and took time out of their day to chat with us for a while upon arrival. Would highly recommend”

“el Kalaloch es un hotel modesto pero bien completo. Las habitaciones son amplias y comodas, con los servicios basicos de una pequeña cocina. No tiene TV, telefono, ni internet y tampoco llegan las señales de AT&T o T-mobile por lo que estuvimos realmente incomunicados. Hay una pequeña tienda que tiene lo basico si es que no quieres comer en el restaurant del hotel. La vista desde la gondola y zona para prender fuego que el hotel ofrece al atardecer en la playa es de las mas lindas que ya he...

“Overall good experience. Property is well maintained, great view, nice and quite. A few thing that threw me and my husband off: Pillows had some yellow/brown stains (we assumed they were washed because they smelled clean), sheets had small holes. No free WiFi, had to pay a third party to connect, although if you don’t stay in the main lodge, the WiFi won’t work. PS very remote place, no phone reception whatsoever.”

“Host was very accommodating. We had to switch from a tent to bungalow due to unexpected super cold/rainy weather and they were able to help us relocate quickly. Pet fees is cheaper than other places. Location is pretty convenient in between Ocean Shores and Seabrook. The king bed is very comfy to sleep in. The water here does have really strong iron smell to it, but I don’t know if there’s anything that could be done about it. Check in and out is pretty easy as well”

“I happened to book this hotel by chance. Our schedule was delayed and they were able to accommodate a change with no problem. The property was quiet, the room huge and comfy, the grounds beautiful. We walked down to the beach daily, enjoyed the hot tub, and the location to other things around town. The only bummer was our fire place only worked on the first evening and not the rest of the days there. If not for that I’d give it 5 stars. ”

“This is the quintessential Washington coastal experience. It’s the perfect blend of nice and kitsch. It is not a Ramada Inn. If that is what you want you should go to Omaha. If you want to walk to the beach and knock yourself out in the rain digging your limit of clams and trudging back for beer and the freshest possible fried clams, then this it.”
