“Bear Cottage is our Happy Place. From the rustic cottage, to the beautiful lake, the animals, fowl, reptiles to the everything nature it is perfect on all levels. “We had a great week at the cabin. Stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, our two young granddaughters, and our dog. The cabin was great and had a perfect feeling of a traditional cabin with all the modern amenities . Property was nicely secluded and the lake was quiet most of the time. We enjoyed the SUP’s they had there as well as the kayaks and canoe. Fishing off the pier was great and we (our grand daughters) caught tons of pan fish. ”

“The cabin was cozy and the perfect getaway! It had lots of rustic charm, and the bed in the master was incredibly comfortable. We loved the lake view from the living room—sunsets were stunning. It was great having a kitchen to cook in, and when it rained one day, we enjoyed Netflix and played Battleship from the game collection. Check-in and out were a breeze.There were a few things to note: the night we arrived, there were quite a few bugs indoors, and we noticed bug splatters on the kitchen...

“This house lives up to its rating and description! We rent lake houses every year and this was the best so far. The lake and outside is amazing and well kept. We also rented the pontoon and it was fabulous and easy. Perfect for a family with kids. “This property was absolutely perfect. With 2 small children the sandy beach and play-set was a huge benefit. Property was only about 10 minutes from town so it was super convenient. We did a lot of swimming and fishing and caught a lot even from the docks on the property. Janette was wonderful and showed us what we needed and was available if we had any questions. We had a wonderful week!”
