“I highly recommend this property. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. Nicely redone with plenty of space. The basement is a good spot to shoot pool and play darts and even has a pac man arcade game. You can play music and not worry about bothering neighbors because there are no houses on either side of the property. The owner stays in contact with you in case you need anything and is very hospitable. There is a cafe across the street with delicious food. I got eggs and toast and my toast was made...

“Overall we had a nice stay. Great location and great size! A lot of the furniture is wobbly. We were hesitant to use nightstands and coffee tables. Even the dining room table chairs felt unstable. There were also a lot of burnt out lightbulbs. Lastly neither of the doors leading to the waterfront lock.”

“place was clean and convenient to trails. Floors are uneven and very easy to trip on. All six of us were over 60 and could not figure out the TV, no big deal as we weren't there for that. One of the chairs at table was broke and there was only 2 sets of keys for the place. There is no hand rail on stairs to the upstairs.Deck is large and nice to sit on. Grill is large but does not get very hot for some reason”

“Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

“This house was amazing! We got snowed in and were very comfortable with 15 of us and a dog in the space for 5 days. The hot tub was great and there was plenty of space and amenities to keep us busy. The negatives of this place come down to things we tend to expect these days with rentals like this. Very limited cooking basics (spices, oil, coffee, dish detergent, etc). Limited toilet paper in the house (3 rolls per bathroom) and almost no hand soap. Not many directions on how to use the...

“It was wonderfully different I understand it is a cabin / home but to have mouse droppings in the drawers is not good.”

“We had an enjoyable time there. However, we could not get the furnace to work and the temp. had cooled off enough that we needed it to run. I do not have a phone to contact anyone. I left a note for the cleaners and told them about it. Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay.”

“Nice quiet property on the lake. Check in process and communication with owner was smooth. Everything clean and in working order. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but not enough drinking glasses. (They do have some plastic ones). Renter should be aware there are no basic spices not even salt and pepper. Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay.”

“This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! I would’ve given it five stars for cleanliness, even though it is a pet friendly place, it could’ve been a little more spotless. I have pets and I don’t care for pet hair on my bed.
