Ocean View Beach House en las dunas de arena en la bahía de Monterey

Esta casa de playa con vista al mar se encuentra en las dunas de arena de la Bahía de Monterey con una vista completa del Océano Pacífico por un lado y el Valle de Pájaro por el otro. Hay terrazas a ambos lados de la casa. Un sendero corto (sin camino para cruzar) conduce a las millas de playa de arena. La casa se encuentra dentro de la comunidad cerrada de Pajaro Dunes con seguridad las 24 horas y áreas comunes para caminar / andar en bicicleta, canchas de tenis, voleibol y cancha de baloncesto. La casa está completamente amueblada con una cocina completa, ropa de cama y toallas y todos los últimos juegos de mesa para disfrutar frente a la estufa de leña. Los niños pueden jugar sin preocuparse de los autos dentro de la Comunidad de Dunas de Pájaro (no hay carreteras entre la casa y la playa)

La ubicación de la casa está en el centro de la Bahía de Monterey, entre Carmel / Monterey y Santa Cruz. San Francisco está a 100 millas al norte; San José / Silicon Valley está a menos de una hora de distancia. El campo de golf más cercano está a 5 minutos y los famosos campos de Monterey están a menos de 30 minutos. El acuario de Monterey y el paseo marítimo de Santa Cruz se encuentran a media hora en coche. La observación de aves y el kayak de fama mundial en Elkhorn Slough se encuentran a 10 minutos en Moss Landing.

Love this property- a true beach house. Windows in downstairs bedrooms definitely needed cleaning ; kitchen supplies added and spruced up; but overall a delightful stay.

WE didn't have any contact with the property manager (none required, so I can't comment on that) - the towels and house smelled very musty .. the washer had mold in it .. and suspect that is the reason for the musty smell. I expect some "dampness" from beach living .. but it was more than that. One item to note - the banister rungs for the stairs is not up to code - I could fit my head through and a small child could fit their whole body. We brought a baby gate for the top of the stairs. Aside from that we loved the place - had a fabulous time and would return (bringing our own towels however).

We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend's birthday. The house was perfect for cooking together and lounging in the living room and on the deck. The proximity to the beach was the best - just steps away for miles of beach walking. The house was clean and well appointed, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We hope to be back!

Fantastic!

I think this house is the best deal in all of Pajaro Dunes! It was spotless, well appointed, and the bathrooms have been updated, which is really nice in an older beach home. The beds were comfortable and had nice bedding. And the best part is that it has views of the farms on one side and the ocean on the other. I can’t think the owners enough!

Spring break at the Beach House

It was our third visit to this property. It was perfection! The house is large enough to fit our group of six in comfort. The beds are soft. Every bedroom has a well equipped bathroom. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook all of your meals. The kids rode bikes in the front. The teens played volleyball in the court. The beach was just steps away from the house. We had a GREAT time!

Eye Opening stay for family members

The house was perfect for our first holiday all in the same house instead of separate hotel rooms, etc. The fact that there was a bathroom for each bedroom was a big plus. The house siting and location, although not directly on the beach with no houses in front of it, it as high enough to give a glimpse of the ocean. The sand dune surrounds and separation from the other houses was a big design plus for the house also. The long deck on the ocean view side provided great outdoor space to eat, hangout and photos also.Just about everything required, was provided. Very pleased and would recommend house to anyone.

Family Weekend at the Beach

Perfect set up and location. Our group of 5 adults appreciated the open living area with great ocean view and easy access to the beach. The house has plenty of seating, beds are comfortable, and the deck is nice space to relax.

Beach Trip With Friends

Overall an awesome experience and a beautiful little house on the dunes! The railings on the stairs were wide enough for our kids to fit through so just a little heads up for parents with small children. Also, the bbq is charcoal so if you plan to grill, be sure to plan accordingly.

Perfect for a respite with girlfriends

The house was perfect for our stay. Beautiful views from both sides of the house. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on both decks while viewing the ocean on the west side and the slough and hills to the east. The slough was teeming with activity! Even saw a seal checking out the breakfast options during high tide. Egrets and herons usually always present. 3 very comfortable bedrooms and 3 nice bathrooms. Perfect. The kitchen was great. Very easy to find what we needed as well as nice pots and pans. I wanted to mention to anyone who is considering this house, there are lots of stairs from either parking lot to the door. This means you have to carry all your belongs and groceries etc up and down the stairs. I knew this ahead because I read the description of the property and looked at all the photos. We kept our carrying bags smaller and used smaller coolers. And got some great exercise! A very short walk to the beach from the house. We saw dolphins, otters, seals, and so many different types of shore birds. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely beach getaway!

We have stayed at Pajaro a few times in the smaller 1-2BR condos, but this time we were two families with 3 kids total. This was perfect for a slightly larger group and the easy access large porch(es), and views were amazing.

Our stay at Pajaro Dunes Resort was truly memorable. The beachfront location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Our rental home was spacious and well-appointed, comfortably accommodating our entire family. The floor plan, kitchen and decks made for a pleasant gathering space.

Lots of stairs

It’s a beautiful place but lots of stairs my kids and elderly parents had trouble with climbing up and down the steps in the front of the house only way to access the house and also the steep stairs in the house home was pretty dirty and garbage is were completely full and falling out onto the ground, which the owner did take care of after I pointed it out but not sure it was cleaned before our arrival due to cobwebs and stains on the pillows that we had a good time I just wouldn’t recommend it for a little children or elderly unless you don’t mind the stairs
