“This hotel is excellent. They have thought of everything, from earplugs by the bed to a digital Robert’s radio playing classic fm when you arrive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great bar and restaurant and wonderful staff. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this is up there and way better than a lot of far more expensive places I’ve stayed. If I’m ever in the area this will be where I stay.”

“We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!”

“Very nice ground floor room with small patio overlooking the garden. Room was very comfortable with all the amenties that one needs, We had a good dinner with our grandkids. Breakfast buffet was good with fresh farmhouse bread etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.”

“Very enjoyable stay for a Christmas event. The food, waiter service and music/DJ were all excellent and the photography was an unexpected highlight for the evening. My only comment is the room could have been better decorated with Christmas decorations as the outer edges of the room were quite bland.”
