Check in was at 3pm, room was not ready until 10pm, we reserved a suite with a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa was old and disgusting and not ready, we had to ask for linens at 1030pm and had to make it ourselves after waiting in the parking lot forever for our room to be ready. It was so disgusting that we just all piled in the two beds and let the sleeper sofa just lay. The worst part was the staff did not care, not one bit and offered no reconciliation even when asked. They seriously did not care.

The bathtub was broken. The faucet just spun around, no water. Wasn’t able to shower. And the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain well either. The front desk clerk said she would send me something by email to see about a refund but did not.

We stay there 6 or 7 times a year to visit family. We have a small dog and request a first floor room and call to make sure they have the message. The woman at the desk had a poor attitude when i brought this to her attention and decided to make sure we were on the 4th floor when the hotel was dead. Plus the side doors dont work and no coffee with the breakfast. No soap and 1 towel in the bathroom. Place is going real bad real fast.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past few months, about every other weekend.. the first day, we were billed for our room twice, then refunded, no problem accidents happen… the hotel is a little dirty, the hallways and the elevator mainly, with the elevator being disgusting. The pillows are sad, they are half the size of regular pillows. But this past stay, the office ladies were so rude, one I believe to be a manager ( the young lady with glasses) they even wrote something down on our check in paper and laughed. She handed my husband the keys and I asked for my drivers license back and she said there in the room keys, why wouldn’t she hand them to me? I let her know we would not be staying there again and she said I can refund your money, I told her no thank you, because I know the other hotels are booked. After reading other reviews, I realize the front desk staff must be rude to a lot of people What happened to customer service And no need to reply to this… because obviously other people have complained about the same stuff and nothing has changed

Definitely the nicest place in Waycross Georgia. Its been recently remodeled so everything is noce and clean and they give a pretty good continental hot food breakfast. No complaints at all and will be staying there again.

Horrible stay
Front desk staff nasty and rude.. when I checked inn my room the guy that checked me in over charged my card 200 and then when I noticed it I went to front desk the the next morning because I seen what was charged on my card was different from what I was suppose to pay. My Room was old rusty no pillows they put sheets balled up in 5 pillow case on the bed so uncomfortable. And to top it off my car was hit in the parking lot we wake up to it and the black girl at the front was really nasty/ rude would not us see the cameras or officers straight out said no deal with it with the police. People like her will make the company look bad.

Shame on you, I want a refund
When we arrived for check in we were told that on top of the reservation that was already paid for in full that we would be required to pay an additional $100.00 per room deposit that would be charged to a credit card not just held for the incidentals. That we would be reimbursed after our stay. The problem is that this is not mentioned in the reservation. This was not mentioned at all until we had drove 6 hours to the facility for a family members passing. I am not sure why this practice is ok as what if I had already paid the nearly $300.00 for both room and did not have the extra $200.00 for the deposit. I feel that this is very unethical and would NEVER recommend doing business with this company again. After a 6 hour drive I was looking forward to use of the pool and hot tub to unwind. The facilities were closed and not available for use which also should have been mentioned as this was a selling point on the reservation. The check in clerk was not bothered at all about our concerns. One room was not stocked with proper towels, My Uncle had another room that not only had soiled towels and cloths hanging in the shower but also had a pizza still in the refrigerator from the previous occupant. The breakfast that was offered was poor quality. For the service and issues that we had we could have paid half of what we did for just the bed we slept in. Hotels.com needs to remove this place from their list or at least make them be forthcoming with exactly what to expect. 0 stars.

I booked this room for my father to attend his youngest brother’s memorial service. From the time he arrived it was nothing but hassle and disgusting conditions. First started with a security deposit of $100 for “incidentals” that WAS NOT DISCLOSED at time of booking. Then once in the room he saw that all of the amenities that was shown in the rooms photos was not actually there. Upon opening the fridge to put up some drinks, there was an old pizza still stuffed inside!!! The bathroom was stocked with 2 towels, 4 hand towels and 1 wash rag which was STILL WET AND HANGING ON THE SHOWER HEAD!!! Thinking he would go relax a bit in the hot tub…Nope! Pool and hot tub was closed. As if this was not enough, the included breakfast was in no way close to being a breakfast. No serving utensils, “orange juice” was more like dirty water and the only edible food was the tiny muffins. Employees were more concerned with their chitchat than they were dealing with the travelers. BEST WESTERN HAS MY BUSINESS FROM NOW ON!! Nothing COMFORTABLE about this Comfort Suites.

My stay was not the best but also not that bad.
They advertised having a gym. The treadmill didn't have a plug, and the bike and elliptical were broken. The pool stated employees only. The elevator was filthy. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was friendly. My room was clean and comfortable.

Took almost an hour at check in even though I reserved through Expedia and then was asked to come down to the desk twice more due to the clerk not being able to “process” my room payment and then was threatened by housekeeping to be put in jail for not paying for room when i had through Expedia. Was charged twice once on the card for Expedia and then the credit card the desk clerk said I had to use for room fees.

Hello Christina, Thank you for your review, your feedback, and your comments regarding your stay. We want our guests to enjoy their stay and find our AC and heat amenities to be clean and in perfect working condition. Our ultimate goal is for our guests to be comfortable both in the summertime, and in the winter. Our maintenance staff has a regular schedule dedicated to checking the working order of appliances, the state of the furniture in the rooms, and bathroom fixtures. I am sorry that we failed to do this during your most recent stay. I am especially upset to hear that the situation was not addressed right away.
