Everything was excellent. We simply went to escape a remodeling project and wound up falling in love with the house and quiet location. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of peace, but not isolated from civil activities. We couldn’t have been more comfortable. And the fenced back yard is also nice and large enough for a dog and person to stretch their legs. Did not use the hot tub but it looked very nice and clean and the water temp was plenty hot if that’s ur thing.

The location was wonderful. From the listing, the outside looked much nicer. When we arrived, the grass was pretty high (in the front and back), the plants in front of the house were over grown and when we went inside it was apparent the house had been cleaned but there were stains on the carpet in the main bedroom as well as on the stairs going up. I messaged the property, which is apparently a rental company, and didn’t hear back for quite some time. We were allowed to bring our dogs so I wanted to make sure they were aware we didn’t make these spots.The duvet cover on the main level bedroom bed was semi yellow as well as the shower curtain in the main bedroom bath. I messaged the rental company again as we had zero directions for check out. The directions weren’t very detailed so we did what we could and left it as neat as possible. The beds are comfortable, great living space and the deck and back yard are nice. We were happy to see it was fenced in as our puppies loved to run! The decor was very nice and it suited us, but we were not expecting the outside to be what it was in the front. Overall a good stay but will look for a rental from a person who communicates and not a company next time. Will also make sure to see all images of the outside property.

Wonderful Mountain View!

We absolutely loved staying here! Upon entering I noticed the clean smell of the home. The beds are comfy, plenty of stocked supplies in kitchen and bathrooms. We loved using the hot tub and fire pit too. We would visit again.

Beautiful!

This was just the cutest little house in the prettiest location! I had a two day class to take in Asheville and it was an easy drive to get to from here. The house was great for our 1 y/o -- it was somewhat baby proofed, had blackout blinds upstairs, and already had some toys and other baby/toddler gear available like a high chair. Finally, my husband still has some work calls to take while we were there and the WiFi was great at handling those as well as streaming TV in the evening. We would absolutely love to stay here again the next time we're headed to the area!!

Cute Cozy house in a Picturesque setting

Rooms and beds very comfortable, well appointed home. We couldn’t get hot tub to heat up but were only there for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.

Mountain getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Storybook Mountain retreat…stayed for 2 weeks with different friends at different times…we all enjoyed the comfort and amenities at this house…loved Weaverville and nearby Asheville…lots to see and do…also dog friendly, I think my dog was in heaven with the big yard…thanks

Excellent Find

We had a great stay. House was exceptionally clean. Seems like they use fragrance free laundry soap and cleaning supplies. Several of us have bad reactions to strong fragrance, we had no issues at this home. It was as nice as staying at a hotel. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, flatware, pots and pans. Wish the airflow was a little better upstairs, as it got stuffy upstairs during the day. TV in the living room wasn’t functioning properly.

Roth b’day get away for my wife

Nice house in a quiet location

The house was very nice, well laid out and had everything you would need. Rooms were nice, the living room was really nice and the location was very nice. Not too far away from our destination but also far enough away to be peaceful.

Great stay with littles!

We had a great stay. The property is in the mountains which was very private and cozy. The house smelled fresh and clean as you walked in everytime. It was great for our two toddlers. We hope to be back again.

New adventure

The neighborhood was peaceful and the scenery very nice. Weaverville is a small town with good food that is close by if you don’t want to travel back to Asheville. The house was very clean and comfortable.
