“It is a lovely chalet and everyone was impressed by how cosy, clean and convenient it is. I think the chalet looks better in person than on the photos.We are a family of 2 adults 2 little children and we could walk to the beach directly from the holiday village via a public pathway through farmland and it wasn't too challenging for the children to walk there (they still needed a little help). “This is a fantastic house. It has spacious accommodation, ideal for our family group of 12. The hosts had thought of everything with lots of little extras such as toys and books for the children and bread, milk etc which made the house a very welcoming place. The kitchen was well-equipped and the kitchen/dining area an ideal space for socialising with us all able to sit round the table together. We loved being able to easily access the beach via the burrows.”

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage being 5 adults and plenty of room but may of been a bit pushed if 6 for sitting room but perfect for us. It's a bit way out on single track road and at first was a bit worried about but found perfectly ok by end of holiday. Kitchen was lovely only downside but it didn't affect us a very small ice compartment but luckily we didn't get much frozen food . There are some steep stairs but a great hand rail so not a problem but worth mentioning if you have mobility...

“Driftwood is one of a set of barn conversion cottages way off the beaten track and just a few minutes walk away from the South-West Coast path. It was an ideal base for us to walk a new stretch of coastline which is as good as any of the parts of the UK coastline that we have walked before. Other families and couples were around but we hardly heard or saw any of them and you could hear a pin drop overnight, such was the tranquillity of the place. “We had the most wonderful, memorable stay. The location was great and we enjoyed many lovely local walks and activities. The cottage and farm were a total dream for the kids (and grown up) the trampoline was great fun, plus the swimming pool which was always just us 4 (and had lots of play things!) The kids loved feeding the chickens and quails and seeing the peacocks. The games room was well kitted out and great fun so plenty to do back at base on a wet day! “We had a party of 11 ranging between 6 and 66 and all had a great time in the excellent Tregarden. The property is 5 minutes from the beach ad has stunning views over the coastline.Despite a couple of minor problems at the start of the holiday Genevieve and John the owners couldn't have been more helpful and sorted them out straight away.I would highly recommend Tregarden for a family hoilday. ”
