Clean, fresh house with large, new deck and perfect outdoor shower. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. Excellent location halfway between Wellfleet village and bay beaches. Only one thing didn't go right. One day, suddenly hundreds/thousands of ants crawled out of the dining room wall. They walked around the dining room for a bit, then completely disappeared back into the wall. OK, it happens, it's the beach. So I called the given number for local house manager. Got voicemail of a friendly-sounding "Tracy from Vacasa," so I know it was the right number. Left about 4-5 messages total over two days. Nobody called back. Called the main Vacasa number again and was given another local number to call. Called it -- it was a wrong number. I was hoping to get an exterminator or some other solution because at that point, at the beginning of the week, we had no idea if the swarm of ants would return. They never did, so we were lucky. Bottom line, not the fault of the homeowner. House was spotless. But homeowner should be advised that their house management company was unresponsive.
