We loved staying at The Tides at Little Apple Bay! The view is spectacular...I could watch my boyfriend surf in the bay from the expansive deck. It's a short walk to Sebastians for fun nights and a short drive over Zion Hill to Soper's Hole. It was clean and had all the amenities that we needed and more! We used the gas grill alot. Michael the owner is very responsive as is Val who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Val is an A in our book! He even worked on his birthday! We already plan to return to this same unit next year!! Can't wait!! Thanks Michael for your gracious hospitality in storing our surfboards until we come back next year...much appreciated!

Unfortunately we did not stay due an issue with the AC in our unit was out. But thankfully the owners alerted before our stay and we arranged alternate accommodation. It was so kind that they alerted us with enough time for us to find accommodation. TheoOwner refunded our money- they made us 100% whole. I highly recommend this owner and will book again. Thank you‼

A Hidden Gem!!!! This place is truly amazing! It has everything you need and more. Bedding & towels were luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Very safe location. View is to die for!!! The beach is sandy with no rocks to cut your feet in the water. Bath products were very good quality. Val was also amazing! He unloaded our luggage and groceries and checked on us several times. C&D grocery is close and fully stocked. The photo is important to show that you do need to walk down steps to reach the beach (Off season)Tips: rent a jeep.come in from west side via Red Hookeat at Patricia's at Smugglers Cove, chairs are 12 ea.Sebastion's has a convenience store with staples and a book exchange, within walking distance.Rent a charter boat with I&I to tour Islands Israel Owner.You can't go wrong with this one! I will be going back again!

Amazing sunsets and super nice beach

We loved everything about this property ! The location, the beach, the views!! It is a well equipped property beachfront with an amazing view all around it. Super comfy beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, excellent location, nice sun area and terrace. We were able to cook since it has everything you need, stove, bbq, hot water, working ac units and ceiling fans. The property owner and manager were so helpful in planning our stay and very attentive during our stay. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy such an amazing and peaceful place

The Tides

Beautifully maintained, directly on the shore,close to excellent dining. Large deck facing the water with equally great views from each bedroom. Small but functional bathroom and shower facilities. Well supplied with amenities. Host, Michael, very responsive. Manager, Val, was very accessible and on site when needed. Very good experience and highly recommended for adults and/or older children.

Truly memorable stay

We had an absolutely amazing time at this rental! The views are second to none and loved the location being so close to Smugglers Cove, great snorkeling beach! The property was absolutely pristine and they thought of everything including a bin of fresh water outside the door so as to not track in sand. We really could have just spent the entire vacation staring at the incredible view but we did venture out and went to Smugglers Cove as well as local nearby restaurants. Val, the property manager that greeted us was so friendly and helpful! A few tips for those that haven't been to Tortola before: be sure and have sufficient cash on hand as some places don't take credit cards. The closest ATM to the rental is 15-20 minutes away. Also, be sure to bring enough sunscreen. Similar to ATMs, not a lot of places carry sunscreen. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Givin it a 5 baby!

I booked this property because of the view and it did not disappoint. We had 3 areas to sit and relax, listen to the ocean and plan our adventures for the day. Val was extremely accommodating, sweet and helpful. Apple Tide is a 5 in my book.

Wow! Perfect location! Attentive host!

I highly recommend this unit! We (3 adults) stayed on the first floor unit in January. We don’t like to rent a car and could EASILY walk to Sebastian’s for dinner and their convenience store. The location is also walkable to sugar mill. Our host Michael provided exceptional details about what we could expect for the stay. The details he provides are accurate and incredibly helpful! His colleague Val was THE BEST! Attentive, friendly, greeted us and showed us around the clean and perfect unit. The first floor has access to a large porch a private smaller deck and a small beach chair area. Coffee (from Sebastian’s) and breakfast on that porch was spectacular as we watched the surfers and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. Because of our time of year the beach wasn’t accessible but it was beautiful! . Bath towels are the best! I highly recommend this unit ! Taxi cabs are privately owned so only tip is if you can arrange a cab (if you are not renting a car) for your arrival at the airport.

Great Place!

This was our second visit to The Tides; the first time we stayed on the top floor, and this time we stayed on the ground floor. (The only notable difference is that the ground floor has an extra deck where you can get some sun and a small private "beach" area.) The villa is very well maintained, very clean, and has very nice linens and towels, which I appreciate. It is also well equipped with kitchen supplies, beach chairs, a cooler, and beach towels. The location is perfect—near the surf spot in Little Apple Bay—and we always felt very safe walking around, even at night. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and it is only a short drive to Carrot Bay, Cane Garden Bay and Soper's Hole (and the West-end ferry). This property also has a great host and house manager! We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, safe & clean with a great host! No access to beach is only downfall. There is a great manmade beach atop the sea wall that works great for a small group! Deck space was awesome!

Apple Tide

Great place great location for my wife and I. We loved the ocean front porch as we sat out there nightly to enjoy the sounds of crashing waves. Sebastian's restaurant was right down the block and a great place for breakfast, dinner and drinks. Our favorite place was D'Coal Pot which was only a few minutes away. Thanks for the great place to stay! Would highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay

We had such an amazing time staying here. The place was super clean and great location on the island. To fall asleep hearing the ocean views and waking up to breathtaking double rainbows, we are ready to book our next trip. Thanks again for having us!

Val was the consummate concierge...he was attentive, helpful and available. The property has gorgeous outside living areas, inside bedroom/bath/kitchen..Great for those who love outside...but heat kept one guest inside. Love the Apple Bay location neighbors/owners delightful, oceanfront was glorious, location accessible to most of the island. Thank you Val for a wonderful relaxing experience!

Fabulous

Apple Tide was perfect for the two of us. Val went over and above to make our stay perfect. The views from inside and from the expansive deck are stunning. As a bonus there is direct beach access from the property. Inside the unit is spacious and well outfitted. If you need to have a place to sit inside this property might not be the place for you as all seating is outside. I would definitely return to Apple Tide.

Gorgeous view, gracious host

We wanted a beautiful ocean view, which we found here. Every room has a gorgeous view of the ocean and mountains in the distance. This home has luxurious touches, soft pillows, sheets and blankets, and really nice towels. Everything was very clean. Michael was an excellent host. He was very involved in helping us enjoy our stay. Val was also wonderful! We hope to return!

Perfect vacation house for a small family

My husband, myself, our 7 and 1 year old spent 9 days at the tides at apple bay and it was spectacular. We had the bottom unit with the extended porch and sand area . Property manager Val was so incredible, kind and effective. We ended up arriving hours late, close to 11 pm and Val waited for us in front of the property. The property is clean and more than described to be honest. The 3 ac units keep the house cool and it is a nice reprieve from the carribean sun. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to cook meals. We ended up only eating out 4 times and cooking in our unit the rest of the meals. My only negative for the bottom floor of this property is drop offs off the porch. I did have my 1 year old so I had to be very careful and not let her on the porch. It would have been great if there were 2 baby gates available for use to close off the porch area and make it safer for the littlest of little's to play. I do fully understand that they probably don't often have babies that stay. I was able to rent a play pen from a rental company but unfortunately could not secure gates. Luisa was so kind and left a set of beach toys for my little girls to get right to it the morning after we arrived. The beds were so comfortable and the linens are wonderful. All in all this was a 10/10. Michael was so very responsive and informative prior to arriving. Then val takes over and is able to assist with anything you need on property. Wonderful stay.

Val was amazing he even took us to the ferry when we had to leave.

great view and right on the ocean. Very clean will stay there next time we are on the island. I am pretty sure this property is brand new. Loved it.

Everything was excellent

We have nothing but accolades to express about this place. Val was awesome and very patient with us as we got a tiny bit turned around initially! He was there for everything we could possibly need! Michael got back to us fast when we booked and I am pretty sure we were the first to stay at this place because it is Brand new! Comfy beds, cute design, full kitchen with everything you could possibly need to make a feast! The waves crashing into the beach was so soothing and lulls you to sleep! The views!! 10/10! Location was perfect and positioned in the middle of everything amazing on Tortola! We rented a car and had so much fun! We will definitely be back! Tortola is on the top of our list of very favorites places to vacation.

Family Vacation

Apply Tides at the Tides in Apple Bay is a great place with fabulous view. We had the bottom unit and the rest of the family had the top unit. Wonderful place for couples or even a girl trip. Host is great and the property manager is friendly and very attentive. I would absolutely stay her again
